Instagram is another social media tool that allows actors to connect and build their connection with their fans. They can also connect with their peers in the industry and lead to more business opportunity.

It is always interesting to see the different aesthetic each actor portrays, the behind the scenes and just the normal day to day life the actors share on the platform. Here is a list of the most followed Korean actors , who are you yet to  follow?

Kim Taehyung (52.3M)


Kim Taehyung popularly known as V is a member of the talented K-pop group BTS . He made his acting debut in Hwarang (2016) and he perfectly portrayed his character Han Sung. If you are an Army ,you know that he and Jimin love roleplaying in their BTS content and they are hilarious. 

Never a dull moment with the soulmates! He keeps fans updated on his day to day activities on Instagram and serves visuals for days. Lee Min-ho is conceivably the most popular South Korean actor today. He is also a model and a singer. He is also considered one of  the most handsome Asian celebrities, which has gathered him a massive local and international following.

He began acting in minor roles in high school and had his big break after starring as Goo Joon-Pyo, a rich bad boy in the drama series Boys over flowers (2009)

At the young age of 25 years, Eun-woo has managed to forge a name for himself both as a K-drama actor and K-pop artist. His birth name is Lee Dong-min, and he decided to adopt his character name after the success of his breakthrough role in the 2015 web drama To Be Continued.

As his popularity grows in the K-pop industry with the boy band, ASTRO, so is his eminence in K-drama. We are currently waiting with bated breaths to see him in the upcoming drama The Villainess is a Marionette.

Chang-Wook has probably played almost all the characters you might think of, from the lovable struggling underdog in Backstreet Rookie (2020) to the grouchy, awkward prosecutor in Suspicious Partner (2017), the mercenary turned bodyguard in The K2 (2016), to the hotheaded emperor in Empress Ki (2013).

Song Kang made his acting debut in  2017 when he played a supporting role in the romantic comedy  The Liar and His Lover.  He has since expanded his acting portfolio with his notable work being Love Alarm (2019-2021) , Navillera (2021) and Sweet Home (2020) .  Most of his shows have been produced and aired by Netflix earning him the nickname “ Son of Netflix.”

  1. I love Song Kang, I’m hoping for another romantic series or movie from him. He keeps me interested to watch him perform. He’s really addictive and beautiful sexy to watch.
