Megamind Vs Dude Monkey

Megamind Rules! Episode 1 begins with Megamind recording a video. Just then, there’s an alert about a robbery and Megamind rushes to save the day. Just as he arrives, Dude Monkey arrives and steals the show. He catches the robbery and then streams live on social media.

Seeing Megamind there, Dude Monkey approaches him and makes fun of him on livestream. Chum tricks him into thinking Dude Monkey looks up to him.

Following that, Megamind goes to Roxanne’s office through the window. Startled, she throws a TV at him. She informs him of the Doom Syndicate’s escape and also shows him pictures of Nighty Knight stealing things. Just then, she pulls out the aquarium gig, but Christina stops her. She claims Dude Monkey is a better suit for the job. She still selects Megamind.

Back at his base, Keiko tells him about Dude Monkey’s trolling. Megamind does not know the internet, so she educates him about it. They engage in petty competition as she explains. Megamind asks her to make him popular. The scene cuts to Megamind filming a video for social media, but Chum distracts him with memes.

Just as they’re recording, he sees a man with his head in the phone about to meet with an accident. He rescues the man using his gadget and questions him. The man reveals he was watching Dude Monkey content. Just then, Dude Monkey arrives and they mock Megamind. Keiko edits out the bad stuff for him and they post it on social media. Megamind waits in anticipation of going viral but is disappointed in the results.

The next day, Megamind learns that Dude Monkey was selected for the Aquarium Gig instead of him and also has a sponsor. He gets to know that Nighty Knight has been spotted and heads out to catch him. Megamind records his attempts to catch Megamind but fails miserably. He then sees a video of Dude Money mocking him about the Aquarium gig.

At home, Keiko comes up to him and reveals that a blooper reel he had accidentally uploaded went viral and got him tons of subscribers. He then realizes that Nighty Knight is making a play for the diamond Koi fish.

The scene cuts to Dudemonkey’s speech when Roxanne is told about Nighty Night’s plan. Dudemonkey assumes it is Brad pretending to be Nighty Night, but then realizes it is the real Nighty Night. Megamind uses his Freeze Gun to freeze Dudemonkey. He then gets felicitated on stage. A part of Nighty Night’s hand runs off with a genetically altered starfish from the lab at the end of Megamind Rules! Episode 1.
