The Episode Review
Today’s episode gives fans more enjoyable festival prep shenanigans with the cast. It also offers a fascinating dive into Komari’s character. Fans will enjoy the mix of heartwarming and amusing scenarios we received in this one. Lemon and Anna boasting about their silly costumes is a great example.
Seeing most characters come together to build the “edible readings” exhibit was also endearing. However, the material that focuses on Komari will keep folks invested the most. From her struggles with loneliness to her work fatigue troubles, many fans who’ve endured these problems will resonate with Komari here.
Seeing Kazuhiko lend Komari advice on how to overcome these internal hurdles will move audiences at their core. At the same time, it’s nice that he got a taste of his “own” medicine when Lemon, Anna, and the others lent him a hand with the exhibit.
Additionally, fans will like that Kazuhiko got some payback from Anna regarding the fake boyfriend Mitsuki scenario we received episodes ago. That was downright hysterical despite the situation before that segment being meaningful and moving. But all in all, this was a great showcase from Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines.
