Episode 7
Episode 7 of Love Scout begins with Ji-yun and Eun-ho attending a concert, where Ji-yun is hyperaware of Eun-ho’s presence. On their way back, they meet a little girl who captures their first picture together.
The next day, a Peoplez client expresses her desire to change jobs after breaking up with her partner, who also works at the same company. This sparks a conversation about office dating, with Ji-yun showing particular interest in the topic.
Elsewhere, Jeong-hun’s father, Woo Chul-yong, who is revealed to be a major Peoplez investor holding over 40% of its stocks, meets Ji-yun. He asks her for a recommendation letter for a candidate applying for a government position. Ji-yun refuses, finding it unethical. Chul-yong then turns to Hye-jin, who steps in to assist him with the matter.
As time passes, Ji-yun becomes increasingly distracted by Eun-ho’s presence and eventually asks Mi-ae to arrange for a new secretary. Mi-ae reveals this to Eun-ho, who confronts Ji-yun about her decision. During their conversation, Ji-yun ends up confessing her feelings to Eun-ho.
Following this, Ji-yun begins distancing herself from him. She has lunch with Jeong-hun, during which she indirectly rejects his feelings. Later, Jeong-hun visits her sister-in-law’s kindergarten, where he meets Su-hyeon. The two bond over their unrequited love and end up drinking together.
The next day, during a meeting about her new job, the Peoplez client encounters her former partner. It becomes clear they still have feelings for each other, and they rekindle their relationship.
Meanwhile, Ji-yun attends a meeting while Eun-ho falls asleep in the car. Seeing this, she lets him rest and blocks the sunlight from his face.
Later, Eun-ho confides in his friend and senior, Mi-ae’s husband, about his feelings for Ji-yun. He shares his hesitation, citing his responsibility for Byeol. His friend encourages him to be true to his emotions.
The following day, Ji-yun meets Byeol and Su-hyeon’s son at a bookstore. She also learns that Eun-ho and Su-hyeon have plans to watch a movie together that night, thanks to Jeong-hun helping Su-hyeon ask Eun-ho out. This revelation bothers Ji-yun for the rest of the day.
As Eun-ho leaves for the movie, he suddenly changes his mind and rushes back to the office to find Ji-yun. At the same time, Ji-yun runs out, trying to stop Eun-ho from going to the movie. They meet halfway, with Ji-yun calling Eun-ho and asking him not to watch the movie with Su-hyeon. Eun-ho approaches her, and the two share a kiss as the episode ends.
