‘Love Next Door’ is Netflix’s latest K-drama, which has quickly climbed the viewing ladder on the popular streaming service just days after its debut. With a stellar cast, compelling and lovable characters, and a captivating slice-of-life romantic comedy plot, ‘Love Next Door’ is on its road to sure success.
The show revolves around two childhood friends, Choi Seung-hyo and Baek Seok-ryu, who would deny acknowledging each other’s existence if asked about it. Both of them are high achievers, with Seung-hyo being a star architect and Seok-ryu working at a renowned firm in the U.S. It’s not until Seok-ryu’s sudden return to “reboot” her life that the two friends meet again, forcing each other to heal from their dark pasts.

Love Next Door Episode 5 Spoilers] – Preview & Predictions
In Episodes 3 and 4 of ‘Love Next Door’, we discovered that Seung-hyo had, quite predictably if you ask me, liked Seok-ryu since they were in high school or even earlier. Seung-hyo and Seok-ryu discover the time capsule they’d buried along with Mo-eun, and Seung-hyo is dumbstruck to find “evidence” against his biggest secret. No matter how much he tries to feign that he doesn’t like Seok-ryu anymore, by the end of Episode 4, we catch him red-handed, and he’s definitely fooling no one!
Now, building on the theme of “romance in the air”, the next episode will see Seok-ryu and Seung-hyo in awkward positions, with Seok-ryu falling into his arms, making him blush by gazing into his eyes as Seung-hyo wonders, “Why is Seok-ryu suddenly looking at me weird like that?” But it’s quite unlikely at this point that Seok-ryu would start liking him too because she strongly denied it in the last episode, and she has no reason to start doing so either. So, we’ll possibly need to wait a little longer, fellow fans! But it’s for certain that we’ll have some heart-fluttering scenes in the next episode.
Meanwhile, it does seem like Seok-ryu hasn’t moved on from her former fiancé when Mo-eun asks her about it while looking through Seok-ryu’s pre-wedding pictures. While Seok-ryu is confiding in Mo-eun, it seems Seung-hyo overhears their conversation. Alternatively, though, it’s possible that the preview is throwing us off, and Seok-ryu and Mo-eun might be talking about Seok-ryu’s recent encounter with Chris from Greip.
On the second lead couple side, Dan-ho and Ma-eun continue to be a thorny presence in each other’s lives, and who wouldn’t want a good old laugh!
