Love Next Door Episode 3: Spoilers, Prediction, Fan Theories & Reaction

Love Next Door

Love Next Door is Netflix’s latest Kdrama, which has quickly climbed the viewing ladder on the popular streaming service just days after its debut. With a stellar cast, compelling and lovable characters, and a captivating slice-of-life romantic comedy plot, Love Next Door is on its road to sure success.

The show revolves around two childhood friends, Choi Seung-hyo and Baek Seok-ryu, who would deny acknowledging each other’s existence if asked about it. Both of them are high achievers, with Seung-hyo being a star architect and Seok-ryu working at a renowned firm in the U.S. It’s not until Seok-ryu’s sudden return to “reboot” her life that the two friends meet again, forcing each other to heal from their dark pasts.

Love Next Door Episode 3 [Spoilers] – Preview & Predictions

The first two episodes of Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min’s popular K-drama revolve around Baek Seok-ryu’s sudden return from the U.S. It becomes clear that she had been a victim of racism and ostracization at her company.

To make matters worse, she also discovered her fiancé’s infidelity. On the other hand, Seong-hyo, the star architect and Seok-ryu’s childhood friend, may seem like he has it all, but his newly established architectural firm is built on shaky grounds with no reliable source of revenue or prospective clientele.

Our two protagonists’ stories are likely to get more screen time in Episode 3, which will possibly delve deeper into both Seok-ryu and Seong-hyo’s past and their next course of action. We can look forward to seeing Seok-ryu enjoy doing absolutely nothing while trying to figure out her path in life. Perhaps she’ll revisit a long-lost dream from her past?

On the other hand, it seems that becoming an architect might not have been Seong-hyo’s true dream after all. In Episode 1, we learned that Seong-hyo was also a star swimmer, which might be a clue to a secret he’s hiding. Additionally, Seong-hyo’s firm is going through an existential crisis, and in the next episode, he might take on an unlikely project to get his business off the ground.

As a cherry on top, we can look forward to more of Seong-hyo and Seok-ryu’s sizzling chemistry as they grow closer while unearthing a blast from their past—a time capsule! Meanwhile, our second lead couple, Kim Ji-eun’s Jeong Mo-eun and Yoon Ji-on’s Kang Dan-ho, are set to cross paths once again in Episode 3. Who knows what that might bring!

Love Next Door Fan Talk: Reactions and Theories

Love Next Door’s popularity is sparking all kinds of fan theories and reactions. Some fans can’t stop talking about the chemistry between the show’s protagonists, Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min, and the beloved friends-to-lovers trope, while others are bringing up their Queen of Tears terminal illness trauma! Rest assured, it seems unlikely that this slice-of-life K-drama will follow a terminal illness trope, given its current tone, style, and plot progression.
