Straight off Strong Girl Namsoon, we reunite with our beloved heartthrob, Byeon Woo Seok, in My Lovely Runner. This latest fantasy rom-com also stars the gorgeous and talented Kim Hye-hoon, who plays the role of Im Sol. Im Sol time travels back 15 years to save her favourite celebrity, Ryu Sung Jae.
Ryu Sung Jae is one of the most popular celebrities on top of the game. However, it is not all glitz and glamour; he is exhausted. Can Im Sol save his fate by travelling to the past in time to change the trajectories of their lives?
Lovely Runner Episode 3 [Spoilers] – What to expect?
The trailer for the next episode excites us, as we see Sung-jae planning to confess his feelings to Im Sol. The last scene in episode 2 showed that she was actually his first secret crush. This explains why he got angry when In-hyuk mentioned that Im Sol liked Tae-sung.
The upcoming episode promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions. The swimming competition serves as a backdrop for Sung-jae’s gesture to win the medal and make his dad and Im Sol proud. However, his plans are overshadowed by his growing concern over Tae-sung’s friendship with Im Sol, which seems to deepen in the next episode. The trailer hints at a shocking twist as Tae-sung confesses his feelings first. The audience is left in suspense, eagerly awaiting Im Sol’s response to his proposal.
We also got a snippet of Sung-jae’s relationship with his dad. It is unclear how Sung-jae hurt his arm as he is in a hand cast. By the looks of it, he starts to think about quitting swimming, and his dad becomes enraged by this. On the other hand, Im Sol is happy because she believes she successfully saved Sung-jae. Are you excited to see if Sung-jae will win the competition? Do you also think the song he sang about unexpectedly meeting someone special, like summer rain showers, was about Im Sol?
