Do You Like Mr. Piano?

Love Andante episode 4 starts with Na-gyeong dropping Ju-hyeong home. As Gyeong-ho predicted, he is in bad shape. He rests on the sofa while Na-gyeong whips a quick noodle meal. She invites Ju-hyeong to help himself. He initially refuses, but the hunger pangs and smells overwhelm him. He ends up eating almost everything by himself.

Meanwhile, Ju-hui tries to avoid Gyeong-ho since she knows what recording he is talking about. Gyeong-ho later gets a call from Na-gyeong’s dad and he reports everything is going well. He doesn’t mention the mishap that led to Na-gyeong sharing a house with a man. 

The following morning, Ju-hyeong wakes up with a fever and a backache. He is surprised that Na-gyeong covered him with a blanket. She also cooks him some porridge and puts a cold towel on his head. He enjoys the meal even though he complains it is tasteless and feels better afterwards. 

On her morning run, Gyeong-ho questions if Na-gyeong likes Ju-hyeong, but she refuses. Even though he doesn’t believe her, he drops the matter after warning her to be careful. Gyeong-ho suspicions deepen when Na-gyeong shows up late for work and explains she was taking care of Ju-hyeong.

Meanwhile, the pregnant North Korean couple visit the doctor for a check-up. The doctors advise the mom to take it easy and give her some supplements. 

After eating some food and taking the medicine Na-gyeong gave him, Ju-hyeong feels better. He cleans the dirty utensils Na-gyeong left behind and cleans up.

In the evening, he goes for a walk and runs into Jun-mo. The two talk about feeling lonely and Ju-hyeong admits he came to the village to escape his celebrity life. He was exhausted from his tough schedule and wanted a break.

Jun-mo explains that is understandable and everyone has different reasons for coming to the village. He encourages Ju-hyeong to open his heart and heal while in the village. The conversation resonates with Ju-hyeong.

He drops by her place of work and thanks her. She is surprised when he mocks her cooking skills but happy he is doing fine. She is also left speechless when Ju-hyeong thanks her for appearing in his life. After his speech, Ju-hyeong quickly runs away. She spots him while driving home and asks him to help push her car after it runs out of charge.

As they wait for the car to charge, they watch the stars and something gets into Ju-hyeong’s eye. Na-gyeong moves to blow it, but Jun-mo and Sang-ju spot them. They assume the two are kissing. 

The Episode Review

Jun-mo’s speech about why the residents came to the Peace Village was eye-opening. He talked with a lot of consideration and wisdom. He is going to be a wonderful influence on Ju-hyeong. Already, Ju-hyeong took his advice and approached Na-gyeong honestly. There is hope for them, after all. 

We are already halfway through this show but there is still so much we would love to see from the other characters. The writers had a great chance to utilize such an amazing cast but failed to rise to the occasion. This makes the show feel incomplete. Hopefully, the other episodes will fix this issue.
