Episode 7
Living with Him Episode 7 drops us in Kuzuto’s bed where he asks Natsukawa if he’s willing to lend more than his hand. Of course, he gives him a warm hug. Kazuto releases him but Natsukawa looks like he wants to say something more. Just then, Kazuto gets a call inviting him to a mixer but quickly declines. Overhearing, Natsukawa chickens out and runs away.
Once alone, Natsukawa says the thing he’d wanted to day – he likes Kazuto. But Kazuto speaks to him through the door, apologizing for putting his feelings on him and taking advantage of Natsukawa’s kindness. Before Natsukawa can reply, Kazuto thanks him and leaves.

The next morning, Natsukawa is clumsy having not slept well. He offers Kazuto a drink but then breaks his couple mug. As he tries to apologize, Kazuto tells him he needs to head out early anyway. As he’s leaving, Natsukawa tells him he’ll make dinner, but it’s a cold parting.
That afternoon, Natsukawa gets a care package from his mother so he sets to work making a special dinner. Kazuto calls shortly after – his family has an emergency at the Inn, so he needs to head home to help out.
Natsukawa’s sisters call to hear Kazuto’s voice but they’re disappointed to discover that he’s at the Inn. But then they start thinking about him in his uniform… They ask their brother if he’ll mind if Kazuto marries one of them and he wonders whether it would be stressful to be with someone that everyone wants. They explain that it would be disrespectful to other person to not see yourself as ‘the chosen one.’
The next day, Natsukawa visits the Inn but as Kazuto is on errands, he has tea with his mother instead. She asks about girlfriends noting Kazuto doesn’t tell her anything. She’d like to see him running the Inn with his wife someday. When Kazuto returns, hearing everything from his mother, he goes running after Natsukawa, worried about how he’s taken his mother’s words.
The Episode Review
Natsukawa spends his time between heaven and hell, both liking the idea of being Kazuto’s ‘chosen one’ and feeling pressured by it. This is the trap of a lack of confidence – wondering the sanity of the person who actually likes someone such as you. Funny how people see you differently than you see yourself. And thank heavens for it.
What would Natsukawa’s sisters think of their brother and Kazuto? I bet they’ll coo and ship them with the hearts of BL fans. After all, if neither of them can date him, it would be the next best thing to have him in their household AND be able to tease their brother endlessly. Plus all three of them fantasize about Kazuto in his classic costume at the Inn. All the more opportunity to drool at him.
Now at episode 7 of 10, hoping we get a glimpse of their happiness as an established couple. They’ve only got two chances left. We’re waiting…
