Episode 43
Episode 43 of Live Your Own Life starts with Sun-soon joining Mi-rim and Hyo-joon as they are having breakfast in the kitchen. After some lighthearted conversation, she then asks them where Hyo-sim is. They tell her that they didn’t see her.
The scene shifts to Hyo-sim, who visits the woman in an effort to locate her father. She is informed by the man who is waiting for her that he often goes to a piano studio, where her father is seen. Having said that, her father has been notably missing as of late.
As Hyo-sim makes her way home, the loan shark calls to inform her that her niece and nephew are at his office. Then, after taking Ru-bi and Lee Phillip to their house, Hyo-sim scolds them for going to see the loan shark by themselves.
Meanwhile, Tae-hee confronts Jin-soo and directly asks if he is her father. Since he doesn’t flat-out reject it, Tae-hee’s concerns just escalate. Jin-soo and Sook-hyang have a conversation, during which Sook-hyang urges him to go to jail instead of her if things escalate further.
Jin-soo goes to see Tae-ho and says he’s the one to blame. However, Tae-ho is aware that Sook-hyang put him upto this. In order to get a confirmation, Tae-hee lures Jin-soo out and spends the day with him. She takes a lock of his hair to have it tested when he’s drunk. On the other hand, Hyo-sim visits Hyo-do. She asks him about Tae-hee and he tells her that he really loved her, but they were quite different and so they got separated. After this, he proceeds to share his propensity to seek for ways to leverage her relationships for his own gain.
Outside Uicheon Villa, Tae-ho waits for Hyo-sim as she makes her way home. After that, they catch each other up on their lives and share their troubles. On the rooftop, they are seen enjoying some quality time together.
On the other hand, Tae-min has fallen sick. At first, Sook-hyang uses her motherly approaches in an effort to brainwash him. This time, though, Tae-min isn’t convinced. Shortly after, Jin-bum has a conversation with Tae-min and tells him that he killed his father. He goes on to describe the events surrounding the Daellewong Pass, where he chased and killed Tae-ho and Tae-min’s father.
