Episode 40

Live Your Own Life episode 40 picks up where the previous episode left off. Myung-hee tells Tae-min that he and Tae-ho are biological brothers. After that, Myung-hee explains that she handed him to his uncle and aunt, Jin-bum and Sook-hyang, when he was a baby since his uncle and aunt were unable to conceive.

Myung-hee continues by telling him that her husband constantly ridiculed Jin-bum and called him an imbecile. As she couldn’t take that, she gave him to his uncle and aunt. Following this, Tae-min pays a visit to the graves of his biological parents.

On the other hand, Sun-soon is still unable to get a grip on everything that transpired. She keeps avoiding reality by not getting out of bed. In response to Mi-rim’s offer to locate her spouse so that she may end the practice of holding memorial ceremonies for a living man, she grows furious and asks that Mi-rim leave.

The prosecutor has also summoned Sook-hyang. She keeps denying everything that he asks her. On the other hand, Report Phrase Tae-min goes missing and doesn’t show up to help Sook-hyang this time, which surprises Tae-ho.

We see Hyo-sim and Ggeut-soon soon running the new cafe by themselves since Sun-soon refuses to get out of bed. They soon have Woo-joo and Tae-ho on board to help with running the cafe. A friend of Mi-rim’s who works as an investigator is helping her track down her father-in-law.

During the closing moments of the episode, Tae-min visits Myung-hee and confronts her about keeping his biological parents’ identity a secret from him. He says she’s been dishonest with him and has made him feel lonely all his life. Just as the episode is coming to an end, Tae-ho overhears them speaking and questions Myung-hee about how he can be Tae-min’s biological brother.

The Episode Review

In episode 40, Tae-min learns that Tae-ho is his biological brother and that Tae-ho’s parents are his biological parents. The new cafe is being managed by Hyo-sim, Ggeut-soon, Woo-joo, and Tae-ho. It is Mi-rim’s unwavering goal to locate her father-in-law. Indangsu lends Hyo-sung money. The prosecution has also summoned Sook-hyang.

The storyline of the show has picked up a lot of heat at this point. Considering the show is nearing its end, it’s easy to see that the plot is moving forward, revealing more and more details as it proceeds. All things considered, the episode is riveting, fascinating and dramatic. It’ll be interesting to see the manner in which the storyline unfolds moving forward.
