Live Your Own Life – Season 1 Episode 32 Recap & Review

Episode 32

The events of the previous episode are continued in Live Your Own Life episode 32. From a distance outside Uicheon Villa, Myung-hee and Ggeut-soon are watching Hyo-sim and Tae-ho while they talk. Since her mother will want to mooch off of him, Hyo-sim asks Tae-ho not to tell her about his fortune and status. Tae-ho attempts to talk her out of it at first, but he ends up giving in.

Soon after Tae-ho leaves, Hyo-sim returns to her mother’s house. She tells Sun-soon that she’s ignorant and how humiliating her nasty attitude towards Tae-ho was. After Sun-soon plays the victim yet again, Hyo-sim tells her she won’t be visiting and then leaves.

When Hyo-sim trains Tae-ho at the gym the following day, she is very strict with him. Just when Hyo-sim and Tae-ho are about to share an intimate moment, Ga-young spots them and leaves.

Additionally, Soo-kyung gets frustrated with Tae-min for ignoring her and staying out late the night before. However, Tae-min refuses to spend time with her. She goes on to inform him that Tae-ho is investigating his family’s past and that she can stop him.

As seen at Uicheon Villa, Woo-joo is completely supporting Ga-on’s career. At the same time, Hyo-do attempts to win over Sook-hyang, but she dismisses his efforts.

To witness her acting debut, Mi-rim takes Hyo-joon to a motel later that day. However, the director cuts her scene, and Mi-rim is devastated. Hyo-joon is then seen comforting her.

After taking Hyo-sim to see the final resting places of his parents, Tae-ho then takes her shopping. The ex-detective calls him as he drops her off at her flat, accusing Jin-bum of being primarily responsible for the deaths of his parents.

Just before the show ends, Tae-ho pays a visit to the office and unexpectedly bumps into Tae-min. He proceeds to face Tae-min on the news he received, and the episode ends with that.

The Episode Review

In episode 33, Hyo-sim asks Tae-ho to keep her mother in the dark about his fortune and social standing. Sook-hyang has evil plans, and Myung-hee is getting ready to reemerge before the world to save her grandsons. There is a theory that Jin-bum may have killed Tae-ho’s parents.

With a good amount of drama to keep things interesting, the show has been developing into a very realistic and grounded depiction of a traditional Korean family unit. The show’s development across the episodes is admirable and pleasant.

Even the characters appear like ordinary people with complex personalities. Some of the characters are clichés, while others, like Tae-min and Ru-bi, are interesting and complex.

It will be intriguing to watch the show’s development going forward, considering the progress it has made during the season.
