Link Click (Shiguang Daili Ren) is a tension-fuelled 12-episode fantasy-mystery donghua (Chinese anime) about friends who are able to use photos to dive into the past. The Crunchyroll Season 1 series finale dropped us on such a colossal ledge, that you may be wondering when this gem will finally release Season 2.

What is Link Click about?
A group of friends run a Time Photo Studio, retrieving information from the past to help customers with the present. In line with the laws of nature, the rules are that they cannot be spotted or change anything. The tricky bit? During the 12 hours spent inside a photo, the diver, Xiaoshi, takes on the other person’s memories and feelings, without losing his own. So things tend to get a little muddled.

Without spoiling, Season 2 looks to pick up where Season 1 left off – on a major cliffhanger. Chen Xiaoshi, Lu Guang and Qiao Ling all seem to be facing something a little darker that’s very aware of them.

Link Click Season 2 Episodes Release Date
Link Click Season 2 begins on Friday 14th July at 4am (GMT) / 8pm (PT) /10pm (CT) with a mix of dubs and subs on its platform. It will be released weekly with one episode every Friday.

How Many Episodes Will Link Click Season 2 Have?
It looks like Season 2 will have the same number of episodes, 11, and possibly another extra episode tucked in to make it an even 12.

From the Season 2 trailer, Chen Xiaoshi, Lu Guang and Qiao Ling all make an appearance. However, last month, Crunchyroll shared a story about new looks for Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling. But not Lu Guang. Uh-oh – we don’t like where this is going. Nor the quick clip of what looks to be a funeral in the trailer. But let’s not panic yet. They can’t really kill off Lu Guang, can they? Who will drive the dive?
Additionally, the team at Haoliners Animation League have made a point of introducing a new face, Qian Jin. He’s got a corporate look and a slightly creepy laugh. Could he be the mystery person?
How about the music for Link Click Season 2?
If you loved the music in Season 1, you’ll be pleased to hear that both Bai Sha Jaws and Fan Ka are back with new tunes that feel very Link Click. The opening song is Vortex by Bai Sha Jaws. The end jam is a collab with Fan Ka and the Jaws, The Tides. And once again the music and vocals capture both the friendship between Lu Guang and Chen Xioashi and the urgency of the storyline.
