What is Lies Hidden in My Garden about?
The show follows the life of Joo-ran, a woman who grew up in a wealthy family. She is now a housewife and married to Jae-ho, who works as a doctor. They live in a house with a yard. Joo-Ran is happy and lives an ideal life. Her peaceful daily life is abruptly shaken when she notices a strange smell in her backyard.
This leads to Joo-ran eventually investigating her husband and meeting Sang-eun. Sang-eun lives a completely different life from Joo-ran. She grew up in a poor environment and, even now, suffers from financial difficulties. She lives in a shabby rented apartment with her husband Yoon-beom. Yoon-beom works for a pharmaceutical company.
Sang-eun is subject to domestic violence by her husband Yoon-beom and her life is completely miserable. One day, Sang-eun receives a phone call from someone who tells her that Yoon-beom is dead.

It has been revealed that Lies Hidden in My Garden will be shorter than a regular K-drama with 8 episodes in total. Instead of going to the cops like Joo-ran wanted to, Jae-ho manipulates her into lying in order to save Seung-jae’s future from being ruined and their family from being defamed.
