La Brea Season 2 Episode 8 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

La Brea Season 2 Episode 8

When a massive sinkhole mysteriously opens in Los Angeles, a family are separated and whisked away into an unexplained primeval world alongside a bunch of strangers.

In season 2, La Brea promises to whisk our characters up into a world completely different from what we’ve seen thus far. A lot of this centers on that mysterious tower that Rebecca led Scott to at the end of season 1, which could well have a significant role in season 2.

If you’ve been following this one over the weeks, you may be curious to find out when the next episode is releasing. Well, wonder no more!

Here is everything you need to know about La Brea Season 2 Episode 8 including its release date, time and where you can watch this.

Where Can I Watch La Brea Season 2?

La Brea is available to watch on NBC, as well as streaming online via catch-up the following day on Peacock. This is an exclusive original series, meaning this is the only place you’ll be able to watch this one.

La Brea Season 2 Episode 8 Release Date

La Brea Season 2 Episode 8 will release on Tuesday 31st January at 9pm (ET). However for those in the UK and internationally, there’s no official release date for this one yet.

La Brea should drop with subtitles available whilst watching on catch-up with Peacock. Episode 8 is expected to be roughly 43 minutes long, which is consistent with the time-frame for the rest of the series.

How Many Episodes Will La Brea Season 2 Have?

Season 2 of La Brea is scheduled for 14 episodes, which is a few more compared to the first season, meaning NBC clearly have faith in this prehistoric drama. With that in mind, we’ll have 6 episodes left after this one has dropped.

There’s also a promo for the next chapter too, which you can find here:

  1. Love this show, and was really prepared not to, so there’s a pleasant surprise! The 1 thing that bothers me the most(besides the preparation thing), is this….how is it that ALL of the women have perfectly styled hair, and ALL of the men have nicely shaved faces with no razors??? How is it that the women’s hair always seems clean, and then men don’t have beards down to their kneecaps? Just the little things, but, LOVE the show anyway! Cant wait til Peacock tomorrow!

  2. Having to wait 2 months for an episode in the middle of a season is BS! Now I just read that peacock is going to start charging that is really BS this feels like it is all a scam they intentionally get us invested in watching knowing that we are all going to want to watch at least the rest of the season but can’t unless we subscribe so they intentionally held airing the rest of the season so they could make money. So screwed up! What about the people who don’t have an income like myself we are just left hanging unable to watch at least the rest of season 2. Thanks a lot La Brea and peacock!!!

  3. Great Series! I have been watching it on Peacock which right now is free through Cox. As of Jan 15, 2023, Peacock will no longer be free (for the premium version). I think they deliberately held back on airing episode 8 of season 2 to force people to pay for the membership. Personally I think Peacock needs to get their act together before they start charging for their services. Half the time it does not respond and it takes forever for it to load. I have not been able to determine if Peacock is the only place to see episodes 9 -14 of La Brea. NBC will do another season, but that is down the road. If it were not for the last 6 episodes, I would not waste my money on Peacock. If I want to see the last 6 episodes, I will be forced to buy at least one month to get those last 6 episodes seen.

  4. My thoughts and my thoughts only.

To the few who are upset about having to wait for episode 8, until after the new year y’all need to chillax. Just think there are 6 more episodes after the playing of episode 8 on January 31st 2023. If I read correctly NBC approved for more seasons. Just take the time and reflect on the episodes coming ahead.

  5. It’s actually very normal for the “original 3” networks to do a mid season break and focus on holiday programming until after the new year.

  6. 2 months ? REALLY ! Seams to me, someone is either not doing their job right or the streaming services just want you to renew their services. Great show !

  7. What is up with waiting 2 fricken months? That’s crazy. Are views dropping? I absolutely love this show
I agree with others that said they should of peeped b4 going back. Cmon peacock let us finish season 2

  8. My issue with these long intervals between episodes is that as I get older my memory isn’t as clear as it used to be. It is very frustrating to catch up to follow along under these circumstances. It used to be that that would happen only between seasons.

  9. Re: jojo…
Maybe in the beginning they could have had a little bit of preparation but when they were 1988 don’t forget what they learned from the grandmother Gavin’s mother that every time the sinkholes I used bigger and worse disasters happen in the future. But yes the last time they jump in to go fix everything it would be smart to bring some supplies maybe some plastic to help make holes in walls and penicillin and treatment for pain to help the people stuck down there other than that there ain’t much more preparation they can do without causing more and more disasters.

  10. Thank goodness we only have to wait 2 months alot of series just end and leave the audience hanging. This series is great and I love watching it without commercials, can’t wait until January.
Happy New Year Pea… please don’t cancel this series until after the second season is finished.
    Peacock Thank you.

  11. I like the show but am very angry that we have to wait 2months for next episode . What the hell is up with that?

  12. I absolutely live for this show!!!! Keep doing a great job!!! If you haven’t seen this show your missing out!!!

  13. My biggest issue with the show is PREPARATION!!! Why are they never packing supplies to go back to 10,000 BC? Maybe a little medicine, maybe a little food, tools, weapons, clothes etc. Everytime they’re jumping into a sinkhole it’s empty handed. Drop a few care packages first! After all there are a lot of other people stuck down in the clearing. Also, how selfish to try and stay in 1988 without warning or trying to help the others stuck in the clearing about the portals.
