Dan Harmon’s Krapopolis is making its debut on Fox. The animated sitcom is set in Ancient Greece and features the voices of stars such as Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, and Pam Murphy. The series promises to bring Harmon’s quirky and familiar brand comedy that made his previous venture, Community, a firm fan favourite. His previous animation, Rick & Morty, continues to shatter all foundations of what animated television can be.
Krapopolis marks Fox Entertainment Studios’ first fully owned animated comedy series. Fox’s faith in Harmon is evident from the fact that Krapopolis was a straight-to-series order. Fox has also ventured into commercializing the show’s IP by making it the first show ever to be entirely curated on blockchain. This ensures you can buy NFTs that Fox comes out with later.
Jordan Young has been confirmed as the showrunner for season 1.

Where Can I Watch Krapopolis?
Krapopolis is part of Fox’s Animation Domination Sunday line-up and will premiere on Sunday, September 24 at 8/7c with back-to-back episodes. After the premiere, it will move to a regular time slot of 8:30/7:30c. Our readers have a lot of options to stream the show on Fox through various options.
You can stream from the channel on Hulu with Live TV, Fubo Elite, DirecTV Stream or YouTube TV. The show’s episodes will also be made available on Hulu and Disney+ a day after they have aired on Fox’s cable network. Currently, the show is not available to stream on Netflix. However, Fox might strike a deal with them after the show has finished its maiden season.
Krapopolis Season 1 Episode 3 Release Date
Krapopolis Season 1 Episode 3 will be released on Sunday, September 31, 8/7c with just a single episode. Expect the runtime to be roughly 23 minutes, which is consistent with the time frame for the first two episodes.
After the doubleheader with the first two episodes, the show has chosen to go with a weekly release schedule. The new episode of Krapopolis is titled “Wife Swamp.” The episode will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ with subtitles.
How Many Episodes Will Krapopolis Have?
At the time of writing this article, it would appear that Krapopolis Season 1 will run for a total of 4 episodes. It is unclear if Fox will be adding more episodes to the show’s maiden season but we do expect the number to increase in the coming weeks. It is odd that Fox has started a sitcom with such a low number and no announcements to increase it.
After episode 3, we will have another episode to go that will follow a weekly release schedule, subject to any changes Fox might make in between. We do not expect there to be any major scheduling interruptions.

What happened in Episodes 1 & 2?
Episodes 1 & 2 of Krapopolis introduce us to one of the first cities being established in Ancient Greece by King Tyrannis. His vision for civilization meets certain challenges, both internal and external. His sister, Stupendous, and parents, Goddess Deliria and half-manticore father Shlub, do not support his ideals and progressive themes for the city. Externally, their carnivore neighbours Killassians threaten to attack and raid their farms.
Killass, who is the leader of his people, marches toward the gates of Krapopolis. Deliria vows to protect the city but backs off when Hermes, the messenger, tells her that the Killassians worship Goddess Athena.
Deliria wants to get her place back on Olympus and Athena could help her. But when the fighting starts, Deliria and Athena’s insulting match and Tyrannis’ brother Hippocampus’ new invention “the bomb” level the playing field.
Killassians become allies of Krapopolis and Tyrannis decides to conduct a worldwide inter-city tournament. He wants to pitch the other rulers an alliance to create the first empire of the civilized world. But his plan is ruined by Stupendous’ antics and a murderer on the loose killing human folk within the city.
