Kidnap (Thai BL) – Season 1 Episode 12 Recap, Review & Ending Explained

Not Anymore

Kidnap episode 12 starts with Q restarting his therapy sessions again. He wants to get better for Min, and we see this last episode from his perspective.

Does Therapy help Q?

After all the trauma he has been through, Q made the right decision to go back to therapy. Min is supportive and even takes him to his sessions. Although it takes a few months, Q starts realising he is slowly getting over his trauma. Of course, the love of his dashing prince helps him through it.

What happens to Mhen?

Mhen gets a heart transplant surgery and is finally cleared to live a normal life. He thanks Min for all the sacrifices he has made but asks him to start living his life too.  As we guessed, he and Jeen officially start dating. He also starts attending school, and by the looks of it, he is finally happy to be fully healed.

What happens to the other characters?

Suea quits his job to live a better life. He promises Khacha not to repeat the same mistakes. James tries directing and producing a new movie, but it doesn’t work out for him. Still, he gets more gigs as an actor and features in an action film alongside Min. As for Khacha, he remains a law-abiding police officer that his son can be proud of.

How does Kidnap end?

The show ends on a sweet note with everyone happy and moving on with their lives. Min becomes an action actor; Q gets Min’s old house from his dad and asks Min to move in with him. The two remain happy and deeply in love. They continue to be supportive of each other. As the months pass, Q starts getting fewer nightmares and is not triggered as much by loud sounds.

Therapy helps him a lot. Min’s presence in his life also helps keep the darkness away. The episode ends with Min and Q sharing a sweet moment in bed.

The Episode Review

We will definitely miss MinQ. They brightened our Fridays! The scene where Q’s nightmare changes to a beautiful dream once Min appears shows that he is in a better place now. Still, I loved that Q put in the work to better his mental health. I mean, love is great and all, but not a cure for trauma. This was an appreciated approach and realistic.  It is also nice to see Min and Mhen’s relationship change for the better. Mhen getting the surgery, helped him live a normal life and gave Min a chance at one too. Well, that’s a wrap for Kidnap! Let us know your favourite scenes from this show.
