Die For You
Kidnap Episode 11 starts with Q and Min still at the hospital. Min asks Q to consider giving Khacha a second chance. After his conversation with Khacha, Min believes that the man is doing his best for his son. Q thinks about it later and, on his way home, he texts his dad. However, he never gets home because someone kidnaps him again!
Still, at the hospital, Min gets anxious when he sees on the news that Yada reported herself to the police, then fell sick and was rushed to the hospital. On the other hand, Khacha has been suspended after a picture of him meeting with Yada circulated online. Speaking of Khacha, two police officers working for Yada drop by his house and inform him that they have Q. They ask him to follow them if he wants to see his son again. Worried, after Q fails to pick up his calls, Min heads to Q’s house and finds Suea. Suea is also worried about Khacha. The two team up and drive to James’s house, hoping he knows where to find Yada’s men.
James tells them that for a few weeks, Yada and her men have been smuggling drugs and meeting at a local, secluded warehouse. It turns out that Yada also snuck out of the hospital and is making final plans to get her revenge and flee the country. After learning these, the three of them head to the warehouse. In the meantime, Q frees himself and tries to escape. He runs into Khacha , who says he is there to save him. Q is touched and they have a sweet dad-son moment. Q is happy his dad finally chose him, but he is also scared Yada will kill his dad. At the same time, Khacha is willing to die for his son. As they talk, Yada’s men spot them and drag them to her.
On the other side of the warehouse, Min, James, and Suea put up one hell of a fight against Yada’s men. After beating the men, Min rushes to find Q. He sees Q and Khacha kneeling before Yada. Yada plans to shoot Q to make Khacha suffer. Min uses a motorbike parked nearby to create a distraction. Once Khacha sees the opportunity, he fights back, and Min joins him. The father asks Min and Q to leave, but Q begs Min to take him back and help his dad. Min agrees to turn back and helps Khacha. In the commotion, Min gets shot by Yada as he takes the bullet to save Q. Thankfully, it is just a graze and nothing life-threatening.
They take Min to the hospital to get stitches and Mhen is not pleased to see his brother hurt again. Q apologises, but Mhen doesn’t blame him. Later, Min convinces Q to kiss him to feel better. Who knew kisses work better than medication? Khacha talks to Min and thanks him for saving his son’s life. He informs Min that he will have to testify against Yada. Min is thankful for the opportunity to right his wrongs and Khacha is willing to give him a chance.
As for Yada, she is unfortunately set free by the courts due to lack of sufficient evidence. However, the young man whose father she killed doesn’t let her get away with her crimes. He shoots and kills her as she is discharged from the hospital. After the case is solved, Q decides to be supportive of Khacha’s career in the force.
Things settle down and after a few days, Mhen is discharged. Q promises to take care of Min and Mhen, but has trouble cooking. Later that night, Q wakes up to avoid having a nightmare and hurting Min’s wound. He ends up remembering the recent events while having coffee to stay awake and breaks the cup.
Min is woken up by the noise. Once Q explains his fears. Min assures him that he is fine and doesn’t blame him for what happened. Min feels lucky to have Q in his life and will do anything to protect him. He tells Q that it was his choice to save him, and he doesn’t regret it. Min asks Q to stop worrying over it and they kiss as the episode wraps up.
The Episode Review
Finally, the Yada situation is over and Q is safe again. While the episode was intense, the way Yada died felt anticlimactic. The storyline felt rushed, but still perfectly wrapped. As long as she is six feet under, I guess it doesn’t matter who put her there. The only disheartening thing is that the court failed the young man and all the victims of Yada.
If the court had remained honourable and done the right thing, that young man wouldn’t have taken the law into his hands. Sometimes, the corrupt system destroys the victim’s hopes, pushes them into a corner and breaks them. With one episode left, we expect nothing but loving moments. Based on the trailer, we are in for heart-fluttering moments as we say goodbye to MinQ.
