Kidnap (Thai BL) – Season 1 Episode 10 Recap & Review

We Are All The Same

Kidnap episode 10 starts with Min and Q preparing for Mhen’s birthday. Min is touched and sad when he sees Mhen give tribute to his parents on his birthday. Q gets Mhen a pair of new shoes and invites Jeen. Min gifts Mhen a new watch. Later, when Q leaves to drive Jeen back home, Min asks him to move in with them. Mhen teases his brother for losing his cool and begs Q to move back.

That night, Min has a nightmare, remembering his last fight with his parents the day they died. He wakes up, startled. Over the next few days, Q notices that Min has been acting strange.

He overhears Min calling Mangmoom and turning down the offer to be in her new international project. When Min abruptly leaves, Q follows him. Min ends up visiting his parent’s grave. Once he realises Q is following him, he introduces him to his parents. Later, he confesses to Q that he feels guilty over his parent’s death.

Before the accident that took their lives, Min was acting out to seek their attention. Things had got really bad because he felt his parents only cared for Mhen. He felt jealous of his little brother and having to share everything with him.

The night his parents died, they were looking for him after he ran away from home. However, after their death, Min dedicated his life to make up to Mhen. He thought his parents’ death was his fault and blamed himself for it. Mhen overhears this conversation and is saddened. In the meantime, Q reassures Min that his parent’s death was not his fault.

After overhearing the conversation, Mhen calls Mangmmom and begs her to give Min another chance. However, it is too late since the deal is done. She offers to talk to the director if he agrees to come talk to her in person.

Of course, Mhen agrees and leaves for the city without telling Min. Min and Q return to find the house empty and start worrying. Q calls his dad and asks for help. Khacha sends Suea to track Mhen. They learn he went to Bangkok and rush to find him. James later calls them and informs them that Mhen is in the hospital.

Upon getting to the hospital, Mhen tells Min that he only wants to help him. He doesn’t blame Min for what happened to their parents and wishes Min could forgive himself. Mhen says he is not comfortable with Min giving up his life to take care of him. He also informs them that he needs minor surgery to fix his pacemaker. After the brother’s talk, Q asks Min to stay at his house. He later tells Min that he is no longer alone and he will be there for him.

The following morning, Min wakes up earlier than Q and gets ready. On his way out, he talks to Khacha and realises that the man loves his son. He offers to help Khacha fix things with his son. He then heads to the hospital to see Mhen and Q later joins them.

At the hospital, Min tells Q he feels relieved that he settled things with Mhen. Min has been carrying the guilt for years and is ready to let it go. Min asks Q to be by his side forever and they start teasing each other. Q says that Min is proposing, but can we blame him? In our minds, we are also planning their wedding, too.

The Episode Review

We were smiling and blushing throughout this episode. It is a good thing that Min and Mhen talked about Min’s guilt. Mhen has been a good young brother and has never pushed Min away or blamed him for anything. Min has been a great big brother and I am sure his parents are proud of him. He has been there for Mhen more than they could have ever imagined.

By having this conversation, Mhen helps Min heal and stop carrying the guilt. Unfortunately, we are almost at the end of the series. Things look a bit scary based on the trailer for the next episode. Will MinQ get their deserved happy ending?
