Kagurabachi Chapter 9 Release Date, Time & Where To Read

Kagurabachi: Chapter 9

Kagurabachi is the latest Shonen Jump offering with much potential and a decent following amongst the publisher’s fanbase. It’s fairly new having just released in late September of 2023, but offers a compelling revenge tale centered around the action and fantasy genre.

Currently, in the Sorcery and Enchanted Blade story arc, our tale follows Chihiro. He’s a young swordsmith who spends his days training under his famous swordsmith father, Kunishige. One day, a group of evil sorcerers called the Hishaku arrive, murder Kunishige, and steal his enchanted blades, leaving Chihiro to wallow in misery.

Now older and experienced, Chihiro teams up with his father’s old companion Shiba, and seeks revenge against the Hishaku.

Kagurabachi: Chapter 9 Release Date

Kagurabachi: Chapter 9 will be released on Sunday 12th November at approximately 3pm (GMT) / 8am (PT) / 11am (ET). Of course, it’s dependent on how quickly these chapters are uploaded. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

All other chapters are available to read on the above websites.

How Many Chapters Will Kagurabachi Have?

Since the manga’s in its early stages, likely, it won’t be ending anytime soon. It’s safe to assume this one will be around for a long time. However, it depends on how popular this one remains, and what lies ahead for Chihiro and his comrades during their quest for the Hishaku and his father’s enchanted blades.

What Happened In Chapter 8?

In Kagurabachi Chapter 8, Azami asks Chihiro to keep an eye on Char as he plans their next course of action concerning Sojo and the upcoming auction. Shiba believes Sojo will have a rough time tracking them down since he sought aid from the Kamunabi group. Nevertheless, he agrees with Azami and believes everyone should keep their wits about them.

Meanwhile, we cut to a flashback between Shiba and the Daruma sorcerer and learn his name’s Norisaku Madoka. Despite Madoka having a rough outing with his family, Shiba convinces Madoka to change his ways. This entices him to call his sister, resulting in her getting murdered and him learning that Sojo killed the remainder of his family because he failed to complete his mission.

Before he can seek vengeance, Madoka dies in a car explosion. After murdering Madoka and another person, Sojo arrives at the location where Chihiro, Hinao, and Char are residing. He engages in a heated battle with Chihiro, revealing Cloud Gouger before Chihiro. Despite Azami’s warning echoing through his mind, the chapter closes with Chihiro preparing to defend his allies.
