Kagurabachi: Chapter 8 Release Date, Time & Where To Read

Kagurabachi: Chapter 8

Kagurabachi is the latest Shonen Jump offering with much potential and a decent following amongst the publisher’s fanbase. It’s fairly new having just released in late September of 2023, but offers a compelling revenge tale centered around the action and fantasy genre.

Currently, in the Sorcery and Enchanted Blade story arc, our tale follows Chihiro. He’s a young swordsmith who spends his days training under his famous swordsmith father, Kunishige. One day, a group of evil sorcerers called the Hishaku arrive, murder Kunishige, and steal his enchanted blades, leaving Chihiro to wallow in misery.

Now older and experienced, Chihiro teams up with his father’s old companion Shiba, and seeks revenge against the Hishaku.

If you’ve been following this manga, you may be curious to know when the next chapter will be released. Well, wonder no more!

Here is everything you need to know about chapter 8 of Kagurabachi, including the release date, time, and where to read this.

Where Can I Read Kagurabachi?

Kagurabachi can be read at several different places online. Viz Media is available for those in the US and Canada, while Manga Plus has the right to drop new chapters. However, it will also be available to read on the Shonen Jump application.

Considering this is a fairly new series right now, no printed volumes have been released for it yet. However, we’ll be sure to update you when volumes for the series start releasing.

Kagurabachi: Chapter 8 Release Date

Kagurabachi: Chapter 8 will be released on Sunday 5th November October at approximately 3pm (GMT) / 8am (PT) / 11am (ET). Of course, it’s dependent on how quickly these chapters are uploaded. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

All other chapters are available to read on the above websites.

Expect the chapter to be roughly 20-27 pages long. This is also a weekly release so expect the next chapter to drop super soon.

How Many Chapters Will Kagurabachi Have?

Since the manga’s in its early stages, likely, it won’t be ending anytime soon. It’s safe to assume this one will be around for a long time. However, it depends on how popular this one remains, and what lies ahead for Chihiro and his comrades during their quest for the Hishaku and his father’s enchanted blades.

What Happened In Chapter 7?

In Kagurabachi Chapter 7, several men try attacking Chihiro and Char. However, a man named Mr. Azami arrives to protect the two, enticing them to flee the scene after they get a look at Azami’s badge. Chihiro explains Azami is a Kamuinabi member, a group that works for the government. The three return to Hinao’s place and meet with her and Shiba.

Azami says he doesn’t plan to take Char with him since that’s not a part of his mission. Char’s happy she’ll get to spend more time with Chihiro while Shiba reveals he used to be a Kamuinabi member. He says his higher-ups want to speak with Shiba about his intentions and claims they know nothing about Chihiro or the enchanted blade he carries. Azami wonders if he should take it from him.

Shiba argues why Azami and the others should’ve expected chaos to ensue down the line. Azami informs everyone about an upcoming auction (Rakuzaichi) where Rokuhira (Chihiro’s father) Shinuchi Enchanted Blade will be on sale thanks to Sojo. Despite erasing Chihiro’s bounty, Azami tells him Sojo’s out of his league and should let the Kamuinabi handle him.

Chihiro says he won’t get involved but Azami knows he’s lying. He tells Chihiro the Hishaku work swiftly and the auction will occur in a month. The chapter closes with him stating that it’s best to prepare for the event.
