Kagurabachi Chapter 21 Release Date, Time & Where To Read

Kagurabachi: Chapter 21

Kagurabachi is the latest Shonen Jump offering with much potential and a decent following amongst the publisher’s fanbase. It’s fairly new having just released in late September of 2023, but offers a compelling revenge tale centered around the action and fantasy genre.

Currently, in the Sorcery and Enchanted Blade story arc, our tale follows Chihiro. He’s a young swordsmith who spends his days training under his famous swordsmith father, Kunishige. One day, a group of evil sorcerers called the Hishaku arrive, murder Kunishige, and steal his enchanted blades, leaving Chihiro to wallow in misery.

Now older and experienced, Chihiro teams up with his father’s old companion Shiba, and seeks revenge against the Hishaku.

How Many Chapters Will Kagurabachi Have?

Since the manga’s in its early stages, it likely won’t be ending anytime soon. It’s safe to assume this one will be around for a long time. What Happened In Chapter 20?

In Kagurabachi Chapter 20, Hakuri tells Chihiro that he wants to eradicate the Rakuzaichi Auction event and that he’s no longer affiliated with the Sazanami family. Hakuri reveals he was a weak family member so his family disowned him. As a child, Hakuri learned the truth about the auction’s horrid happenings and since that day, he’s vowed to stop it.

Moreover, Hakuri tells Chihiro he knows where his family stashes their precious belongings. Chihiro asks Hakuri about the Shinuichi blade. Instead of giving him a concise answer, Hakuri questions Chihiro about the sword and his need for it. Chihiro tells Hakuri that the Shinuichi blade is important to him.

He argues if someone of ill intent has it, it could result in mass bloodshed. Shiba calls Chihiro and informs him about the Kamunabi’s meeting and plans. Chihiro tells Hakuri someone’s after him. He asks Hakuri to visit his base with him. Before they leave, Hiyuki, the person who was assigned to hunt Chihiro down, confronts him and Hakuri.

Hiyuki warns Chihiro to put his sword down. Chihiro tells Hiyuki he doesn’t have any reason to fight the Kamunabi, but Hiyuki tells him they have a reason to fight. Hiyuki attacks Chihiro but he parries Hiyuki’s attack. Chihiro tells Hiyuki he broke Cloud Gouger but Hiyuki isn’t buying it.

Before Hiyuki and Chihiro continue fighting, Hiyuki tells Chihiro that the sacred blades belong to the Kamunabi. As they clash, Hiyuki informs Chihiro about Kazane’s saddening predicament. Before Hiyuki lands a devastating blow on Chihiro, Hakuri jumps in and takes the hit for Chihiro. Hakuri reminds Chihiro that he saved him.

The chapter closes with Hakuri hoping that his stunt will help Chihiro concentrate on his current fight.
