Megumi Fushiguro

The deuteragonist of Jujutsu Kaisen and son of Toji Fushiguro, Megumi is a talented and stoic first-year student at Jujutsu Technical High School. He’s close friends with Yuji and Nobara and happens to be a descendant of one of the powerful Zenin sorcerer families. He possesses a great talent for jujutsu and is driven by his strong sense of duty and responsibility.
Like Yuji, Megumi wants to protect people from curses and eliminate those who pose a threat to humanity. He’s determined to become more formidable to fulfill his goals. Megumi possesses a special curse technique called Ten Shadows, which allows him to create and control shinigami, mystical creatures manifested from shadows.
With his combat skills, resourcefulness, and intelligence, Megumi is a valuable asset to his team.
Nobara Kubisaki
First Appearance: Episode 2
Hailing from a rural town, Nobara Kubisaki serves as Jujutsu Kaisen’s protagonist. Nobara has a headstrong personality, and a stylish fashion sense, and is known for being confident and direct with others. Her goals revolve around eliminating curses and becoming a skilled jujutsu sorceress. Her rural lifestyle gives her extensive knowledge of the dangers curses cause people.
This drives Nobara to eradicate them in hopes of ensuring others’ safety. As for her abilities, Nobara is most well-known for her Straw Doll and Resonance technique. In addition to some nifty tools, Nobara can share damage between her straw doll and her target. This makes her a tactical and skilled distance-based adversary on the battlefield.
On top of her unwavering determination, Nobara proves to be a great adversary to Yuji and Megumi.
Satoru Gojo

Regarded as one of the best jujutsu sorcerers in the series, Satoru Gojo is a force to be reckoned with in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. He stands out with his playful and eccentric personality, often wearing a blindfold to limit his overwhelming power. He’s primarily focused on protecting people from curses and preserving the balance between humans and curses.
Satoru’s committed to training and guiding his students, preparing them for dangers associated with curses. Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin is a 2nd-year at Jujutsu Technical School who served as one of the protagonists in the hit film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0. She possesses a determined personality, often defying the expectations and traditions imposed upon her by her family. She vows to prove herself and break free from her family’s constraints.
Despite being born as a non-sorcerer, this drove Maki to join Jujutsu High to develop her physical skills. Maki seeks to challenge the hierarchy that discriminates against those like her and cave out her own path as a sorceress. Through rigorous training, Maki excels in hand-to-hand combat and using weapons like her trademark red naginata.
Through perseverance and skill, Maki is someone many fans will adore for her unwavering spirit.
Panda
First Appearance: Episode 5
Panda is another second-year student at Jujutsu High, who was a main player during the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. As one can tell, he’s an anthropomorphic panda with a complex personality and immense combat potential. Panda’s set on uncovering the truth behind his own existence. He’s motivated by his desire to break free from the preconceived notions about his cursed object label.
Regarding his powers, Panda possesses incredible strength, speed, and agility, allowing him to overpower his opponents. Additionally, Panda can swap between several transformations due to the cursed cores in his body. From his formidable Gorilla mode to the later ones he receives in the manga, he’s a determined and unique character many folks will adore.
Toge Inumaki
First Appearance: Episode 5
Toge Inumaki is a member of the Special Grade Cursed Objects and a 2nd-year student at Jujutsu High. He stands out due to his communication methods and mysterious aura. Toge chats with people through a form of cursed speech, where he can only speak with special words that have a direct impact on the target’s body and soul.
He utilizes this power to combat foes and protect his allies by neutralizing enemies. Toge seeks to protect innocent people by eliminating curses and contributing to the jujutsu sorcerer organization’s cause. He’s willing to put himself on the line to ensure others’ safety and emits a gentle and selfless aura whenever he’s with his buddies. While not much is known about him yet, many people will find his character entertaining.
Kento Nanami
First Appearance: Episode 8
Kento Nanami is a former student of Jujutsu High like Satoru Gojo and Suguru Getou but fled the career for a while to become a salaryman. He wants to maintain balance and order in the jujutsu universe and believes in upholding justice. He’s not afraid to make bold decisions to achieve that goal. With his strong work ethic and determination, he vows to protect people.
One of Kento’s best techniques is his Ratio Technique. This allows him to divide his target into ten lines, creating a weak spot at a ratio point seven to three. He can choose which part to divide and can use this technique on non-living organisms.
Coupled with his Collapse technique and expertise with Cursed tools, Kento is a formidable character in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe.
Ryomen Sukuna
First Appearance: Episode 1
Ryomen Sukuna, or Sukuna, is regarded as the King of Curses and one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers in the Jujutsu Kaisen mythos. His primary goal is to regain his full power and wreak havoc on Japan. Although several warriors did him years ago, his essence remains intact within a collection of his cursed fingers. As for his powers, he possesses immense strength, agility, and battle prowess.
He possesses many innate techniques like Dismantle to Spiderweb that grant him great power in combat. He even possesses a power that allows him to heal himself after taking immense damage.
Known for being a cold-hearted and exceptionally sadistic individual, Sukuna is a foe viewers shouldn’t take lightly.
Mahito

Mahito is one of the primary antagonists in Jujutsu Kaisen and is known for his sadistic behavior and cruel actions. He’s determined to reshape the world according to his twisted view of humanity. He believes humans are flawed and trapped by their physical bodies. Mahito seeks to eradicate humanity and replace them all with cursed spirits.
Regarding his powers, Mahito can manipulate the shape and form of his own body. Additionally, he can manipulate others’ souls, distorting their bodies and causing them unimaginable pain. His Domain Expansion technique “Self-Embodiement of Perfection” is equally terrifying and dangerous. It allows him to create an environment where he’s connected with everyone’s souls. Suguru Getou

Suguru Getou is a complex character and an antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a former Jujutsu High student and brings a sense of mystery, tension, and conflict to the story. Suguru’s goals revolve around reshaping the world according to his ideology. He intends to eradicate all regular humans to create a society fit for Jujutsu sorcerers.
His goals led him to kill an array of individuals, ultimately leading to his expulsion from Jujutsu High. Aoi Todo

Aoi Todo is a prominent character in Jujutsu Kaisen and ends up becoming one of Yuji’s closest friends. He’s known for his larger-than-life personality, which brings a great deal of comic relief to the narrative. His goals revolve around his personal philosophy of “getting stronger and having fun.” He wants to become the strongest sorcerer and is willing to go to extreme lengths to achieve it.
He’s an incredibly strong person and has a neat cursed technique called Boogie Woogie. This allows him to switch positions with any person or object he touches. This technique is incredibly useful on the battlefield, but it requires him to clap his hands to execute it.
Masamichi Yaga

He’s set on maintaining the balance between the human and cursed world. Masamichi is determined to shape his students into skilled sorcerers.
He possesses significant cursed energy and is capable of performing many curse techniques. However, his true strength lies in his vast knowledge and experience as a sorcerer. While he may not engage in direct combat, he’s made a profound impact on the overall story and development of its cast.
Mai Zenin
First Appearance: Episode 8
Mai Zenin is a second-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High and a member of the prestigious Zenin clan like Maki. While she presents herself as an aloof figure at first, she’s a conflicted and complex individual deep down. Like Maki, she was mistreated by the Zenin clan for being a girl with little jujutsu talent. However, she was content with living under their thumb, unlike Maki.
However, it was Maki’s rebellious nature that forced Mai to study to become a jujutsu sorcerer. Regarding her powers, Mai doesn’t have the best-cursed energy but she’s an excellent marksman.
Yuta Okkutsu
First Appearance: Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Film
Yuta Okkutsu was the lead character for the popular Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film. He was a special-grade cursed human who was haunted by his childhood friend Rika. However, Satoru enrolled him in Jujutsu High to assist him with his issues. Like Yuji, Yuta is an extremely caring individual and is willing to risk his life to save those he cares for.
It took him a while to master cursed energy, but he’s known for being an exceptional warrior on the battlefield. One of Yuta’s best abilities is Copy. This lets him replicate others’ innate techniques and use them without any drawbacks.
