Jujutsu Kaisen is now onto its 11th arc overall, called the Shinjuku Showdown Arc. This has been an intense arc, with a massive character dying in Chapter 236. We won’t reveal that here but with Sukuna attaining a new body, the final conflict between the strongest is nigh. Will the victory be awarded to the jujutsu sorcerers or the King of Curses? One thing’s for certain though, this fight is far from over.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Chapter 258 Release Date
Currently, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 258 will likely be released on Sunday 28th April at approximately 3pm (GMT) / 8am (PT) / 11am (ET). Of course, it’s dependent on how quickly these chapters are uploaded. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

How Many Chapters Will Jujutsu Kaisen Have?

What Happened In Chapter 257?
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 257 begins with a flashback involving Sukuna and Uraume. In it, Sukuna discusses Yuji’s birth and how Kenjaku gave birth to Yuji. Sukuna says he absorbed his twin sibling when he was in his mother’s body. Eventually, this soul reincarnated into Jin Itadori, the vessel Kenjaku used to birth Yuji.
Ultimately, Uraume questions if Yuji’s potential mirrors Sukuna’s. We return to following Yuji and Sukuna’s battle in the present. Both individuals seem to be on par with each other. The narrator claims Yuji inherited the Blood Manipulation and Malevolent Shrine cursed techniques. Although Yuji’s versions of these techniques are distinct, Sukuna is frustrated that Yuji can use them.
We enter another flashback involving Satoru, Ichiji, Shoko, and Ino. Ino wants to use Nanami’s cursed tool but wants to ask these three for permission. Satoru, Shoko, and Ichiji aren’t against the idea since they know Ino and Nanami are close. Then, we see Ino summon a dragon to the battlefield in the present.
Additionally, he tries striking Sukuna with Nanami’s cursed tool. Sukuna conquers the dragon and blocks Ino’s attack. Yuji arrives and attacks Sukuna with a Black Flash, puzzling Sukuna. Elsewhere, Ino lies on the battlefield, feeling like he let Nanami down. Yuji gets Sukuna against a wall and delivers several Black Flashes. This angers Sukuna greatly.
Sukuna tries to retaliate but Ino throws Nanami’s cursed tool at him. Ino tells Yuji to kick Sukuna’s butt. The chapter closes with Yuji delivering another Black Flash to Sukuna’s back.
