Jujutsu Kaisen: Chapter 253
Jujutsu Kaisen is now onto its 11th arc overall, called the Shinjuku Showdown Arc. This has been an intense arc, with a massive character dying in Chapter 236. We won’t reveal that here but with Sukuna attaining a new body, the final conflict between the strongest is nigh. Will the victory be awarded to the jujutsu sorcerers or the King of Curses? One thing’s for certain though, this fight is far from over.
If you’ve been following this manga, you may be curious to know when the next chapter will be released. Well, wonder no more!
Here is everything you need to know about chapter 253 of Jujutsu Kaisen, including the release date, time, and where to read this.
Where Can I Read Jujutsu Kaisen?
Jujutsu Kaisen can be read at several different places online. Viz Media is available for those in the US and Canada, while Manga Plus has the rights to air the new chapters. However, it will also be available to read on Shonen Jump too.

All other chapters are available to read on the above websites, while the ongoing anime is also available on Crunchyroll.

How Many Chapters Will Jujutsu Kaisen Have?

What Happened In Chapter 252?
In Chapter 252, we enter a flashback involving Ino and Kusakabe. They’re discussing Yuta’s barrier and Maki’s involvement in the plan. Ino feels more people should enter the domain but Kusakabe disagrees. Maki greets the two and Kusakabe tells her he’s counting on her. Then, we shift to the present and see Maki stabbing Sukuna from behind while Yuta’s in front of him. Rika grabs Yuta and heads toward Ui Ui.
Ui Ui uses his abilities to transport Yuta elsewhere. Meanwhile, Maki and Sukuna clash. Sukuna contemplates his foe’s plan and the damage he sustained from Maki’s attacks. Since Maki’s wielding a specific Soul-themed weapon, Sukuna says he cannot heal himself with a regular Reversed Curse Technique.
Then, we cut to Yuji, who is struggling to stay in the fight. Choso arrives and offers Yuji some encouraging remarks to see if this will motivate him to continue fighting. Next, we return to following Sukuna and Maki fighting each other. After several clashes and dodges, the two stop and ponder.
Sukuna internally praises Maki, comparing her to Mahoraga. Meanwhile, Maki realizes Sukuna’s using his Cursed Energy to heal himself and maintain a proper heartbeat. Afterward, we shift to Hakari and Uraume. Hakari’s not afraid of Sukuna’s true form and feels his Cursed Energy is slowly vanishing.
He feels his team will claim victory over Sukuna and Uraume. Uraume disagrees. He explains Sukuna’s Cursed Energy levels waver like this when he’s not interested in his opponents. The chapter closes with a menacing shot of Sukuna and with Uraume stating that Sukuna’s not taking his battle seriously.
