JFK: What the Doctors Saw (2023) Movie Review – An insightful and revealing documentary

Who Really Killed JFK?

The 60th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s tragic assassination is nearly here, and Paramount + has jumped on the bandwagon with JFK: What the Doctors Saw. This new documentary delves into what the doctor’s who tried to treat JFK saw in the trauma room on that fateful day in 1963.

It was known as Trauma Room one, and seven of the doctors who are still alive meet to discuss the aftermath of the fatal shooting and the trauma they still suffer from seeing the president die right before their eyes. The doctors back in 1963 provided more information on the shooting that the government didn’t like, which led to a lot of the conspiracy theories we read about today. But if you can’t trust the doctors, who can you trust?

Barbara Shearer expertly directs this deep dive into what the doctors saw on that fateful day, and the result is a stunning and revealing documentary film. The film feels like a Q and A session with the seven doctors, which really works better than the usual talking heads, with each contributor in a different room. Getting these doctors together really hits home what they saw that day, and effectively corroborates their story.

The film dedicates itself to analysing the medical facts and investigating the inconsistencies between the injuries the doctors observed in Dallas and the eventual autopsy report that was conducted. It’s well worth a watch, and is bound to get tongues wagging again about what happened on that tragic day in Dallas almost 60 years ago.

  1. A completely biased attempt to rewrite history by taking out of context statements, incomplete stories, ignoring facts that completely contradict their positions, falling into Doug Horne’s illogic and factually wrong stance on JFK’s autopsy. It’s only worth watching to see how disinformation is structured to delude the viewer into thinking the film makers are speaking the truth. They aren’t. They continue the lies of the conspiracy theorists.
