Crossroads
Episode 7 of Iron Reign kicks off with Xavier feeling the heat as a menacing Frenchman warns him that if he doesn’t cough up Massimo’s cash pronto, there’s no hiding from them – they’ll hunt him down and end him. Meanwhile, Rocio’s on edge, struggling to crack into her father’s SIM card without any luck.
Her heart aches for her sibling, now gone. Nestor steps in comforts her, and reveals that there’s a traitor in their midst at the port, Nuria by name. Nestor also says that they can’t let their losses overwhelm them and must focus on recovering the stolen shipment.
Nestor also assures the Frenchman that if they can’t locate the drugs, they’ll provide compensation using collateral. Meanwhile, Rocio’s efforts to access her father’s SIM card hit a setback when her purse, along with the memory cards, is stolen while she’s getting into her car.
Despite Miki’s intense interrogation, Nuria remains silent, refusing to divulge any information. Victor breaks into the building where Miki has been keeping Nuria without alerting the guards. Victor cuts Nuria’s ropes but has to hide when the guards overhear something.
Nuria and Victor attack the guards and try to take them out. Unfortunately, Nuria is shot and killed in the process. Eventually, Victor manages to eliminate the rest of the guards so they don’t reveal his secret to Miki.
Rocio returns home and reminisces about her childhood when she became friends with Nestor and Victor. They used to be pickpockets for fun on the streets of Barcelona. Victor loved Rocio, but she ended up marrying Nestor.
However, it’s possible that Nestor and Rocio never got physical. On the night of her marriage, Rocio had sex with Victor, so there’s a chance that Victor is the actual father of Rocio’s daughter, not Nestor.
As the episode nears its end, Victor makes it out of the junkyard with torn clothes, his face and limbs covered in blood and dust. He also sees Miki driving toward the scrapyard, his face contorted with anger.
