Invasion Season 2 Episode 5
Apple TV’s stunning lineup has been the talk of the town. Still in its nascent stages, Apple’s streaming service is definitely turning heads. Every new show that they come up with gathers hype…and at times, the hype goes over the baseline. Viewers learned that as they begrudgingly finished the first season of Invasion, an Apple original that is now here with its second season. While the premise – an alien invasion – is inherently an exciting one, the creators failed to live up to that with the first season.
This new season sees a host of old characters reprising their roles, including Golshifteh Farahani and Shioli Kutsuna.
Last season’s disappointments needed to be washed away and we were certainly hopeful that Season 2 will be better. However, the four episodes until now have failed to buck the trend. It seems unlikely that Invasion will be able to offer us anything markedly different going forward.
Here is everything you need to know about Invasion Season 2 Episode 5, including its release date, time and where you can watch this.
Where Can I Watch Invasion?
Invasion is an Apple original and will only be available to stream on Apple TV+ and its digital partners. This is an exclusive original series and given the platform’s global presence, can be seen from any other geography on Apple TV+ as well.
Invasion Season 2 Episode 5 Release Date
Invasion Season 2 Episode 5 will be released on Wednesday, September 20, at 9 pm ET/PT. For the new season, Apple has bucked its strategy of starting off with a three-episode premiere given the length of each episode. Expect the runtime to be roughly 52 minutes or even more for the new episode, consistent with the timeframe of the previous season. Episode 5 of Invasion’s new season will be released with subtitles.
The new episode’s title is unknown at this point. As a result, we currently do not have any information on the plot for episode 5 but we will be covering the entire season with recaps and reviews for our readers. Be sure to read along!
How Many Episodes Will Invasion Have?
Invasion’s Season 2 has been commissioned for a total of 10 episodes. This is the same number as the previous season. So, after episode 5, we will have another 5 episodes to go that will follow a weekly release schedule, subject to any changes Apple might make in between. Episode 5 will complete the first half of Season 2.
What happened in Episode 4?
Episode 4 of Invasion’s new season focuses on the group of kids led by Jamila, who decide to make the trip across the border into Paris. Jamila’s dreams about Caspar being kept somewhere drive their determination to see their friend once again. They notice everyone looking up in the sky when they come to the border crossing. The events in this episode happen around the same time the nukes were launched at the alien carrier ships in the previous episode.
The kids take the tunnel to cross into Paris instead. They encounter a lot of dead soldiers and aliens along the way. The journey through the tunnel is long and tiresome and the kids get lost several times. They keep finding the right way, though. This episode also shows the response from the aliens after the nuking attack. The mother ship rejuvenated the fallen aliens with even more fierceness and a lot of attacks are reported in and around France.
The other subplot in this episode revolves around Dr. Esmee, the neurologist who has been supervising Caspar’s condition in the ICU. We also see the hospital hosting a secured zone where children like Caspar, who can talk to the aliens, figure out the next clue to win the war. Jamila sees Caspar in a dream state which seems lucid. They both motivate each other to continue fighting the war as Caspar’s infiltration into the alien ecosystem could prove to be game-changing.

Thanks for the blog but I have to disagree with some of the stuff I thought the series has been pretty good so far I enjoyed the first season they did a good job of building up the suspense second Seasons all right of course it’s a fantasy so you have to sort of use your imagination with some of the stuff one thing I did notice maybe it’s just me but season 1 had the English subtitles and in season 2 I haven’t seen the English subtitles but they speak English most of the time and there’s subtitle tax on the internet you can search for the whole episode so it’s not a big deal overall I think this is a great show acting pretty decent special effects are pretty good worth checking out and there’s no woke propaganda garbage in it so that’s a big plus and rare these days
