Invasion Season 2 Episode 10 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

Invasion Season 2 Episode 10

Apple TV’s stunning lineup has been the talk of the town. Still in its nascent stages, Apple’s streaming service is definitely turning heads. Every new show that they come up with gathers hype…and at times, the hype goes over the baseline. Viewers learned that as they begrudgingly finished the first season of Invasion, an Apple original that is now here with its second season. While the premise – an alien invasion – is inherently an exciting one, the creators failed to live up to that with the first season.

This new season sees a host of old characters reprising their roles, including Golshifteh Farahani and Shioli Kutsuna.

Last season’s disappointments needed to be washed away and we were certainly hopeful that Season 2 would be better. However, the episodes until now have failed to buck the trend. It seems unlikely that Invasion will be able to offer us anything markedly different going forward. However, we do have a strong finish on the cards that just might end up undoing some of that damage.

Here is everything you need to know about Invasion Season 2 Episode 10, including its release date, time and where you can watch this.

Where Can I Watch Invasion?

Invasion is an Apple original and will only be available to stream on Apple TV+ and its digital partners. This is an exclusive original series and given the platform’s global presence, can be seen from any other geography on Apple TV+ as well.

Invasion Season 2 Episode 10 Release Date

Invasion Season 2 Episode 10 will be released on Wednesday, October 25, at 9 pm ET/PT. For the new season, Apple has bucked its strategy of starting off with a three-episode premiere given the length of each episode. Expect the runtime to be roughly 57 minutes or even more for the new episode, consistent with the timeframe of the previous season. Episode 10 of Invasion’s new season will be released with subtitles. Given it is the finale, the runtime may even run for more than an hour.

The new episode’s title is “Old Friends, New Frontiers.” Episode 8 brought with it some overlap in the subplots, which might have some promise. The follow-up to it actually delivered as Mitsuki and Caspar met in the place where the aliens communicate with the mother ship. The plot for the final episode reads, “A risky operation is humanity’s best and last hope.”

How Many Episodes Will Invasion Have?

Invasion’s Season 2 has been commissioned for a total of 10 episodes. This is the same number as the previous season. So, after episode 9, we will have just one more episode to go that will bring the season to a close.

What happened in Episode 9?

Mitsuki continues her tireless efforts to crack the code. After the portal’s destruction, she is not left with too many options other than to trace the signal of the frequency. President Benya warns Dr Castillo about her continued failures with the experiment and the importance of Mitsuki going forward. She is also informed that the aliens might be present in undetected areas, which means that they greatly outnumber the ammunition at the WDC’s disposal.

However, Mitsuki’s big breakthrough comes from a voice within. She follows it outside and discovers a whole network of alien communication that glows in her eyes. Caspar has to make the difficult decision of leaving behind Jamila and venturing on his own to the nether place. Aneesha, Clark, and the other members of the Movement break into Project Idabel and rescue Trevante and Rosy.

They eventually lead Aneesha to Sarah, who is safe and sound. In the exciting finale, we see that Mitsuki and Caspar have found each other in the place where the aliens connect with the mother ship. When they wake up in their respective places, both now know where the signal leads.
