After learning about a castle’s downfall at the hands of strange knights, Vermilio must ask Helck and other participants to assist her in retaking Castle Urum back.

Helck Season 1 is airing in Japan on the NTV and BS NTV Networks. It is available to stream on HiDive outside of Asian territories.
Helck Season 1 Episode 2 Release Date
Helck Season 1 Episode 2 will release on Tuesday 18th July at approximately 4:30pm (GMT) / 9:30am (PT) / 11am (CT). Of course, it’s really dependent on how quickly the platform uploads new episodes. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.
Helck Season One’s English Dub is not available from release. You’ll need to watch this anime in the native Japanese language with subtitles. Dubbing will likely release later down the line.
Season 1 Episode 2 is titled ‘Anne from Management’ and will be 23 minutes long.

What Happened in Episode 1?
In Helck Season 1 Episode 1, we get introduced to Helck, a human hero who competes in a Demon Realm tournament that’ll decide the next heir to the former ruler Demon Lord Thor’s throne. One of the empire’s lords Vermilio is managing the event alongside her dinosaur-like companion Hon. They try thwarting Helck’s chances at succeeding in the tournament. She and Hon fail miserably.
To make matters worse, Vermilio learns that random knights have taken control of Demon Lord Urum’s castle. Furthermore, she learns Helck’s labeled as one of his realm’s worst criminals because he committed fratricide. The episode closes with Vermilio feeling stressed about Castle Urum’s situation and becoming more infuriated with humanity.
