Directors Raj and DK are bringing the much-loved ’90s Bollywood back with their upcoming series, Guns & Gulaabs starring Dulquer Salmaan and Rajkumar Rao in the lead roles. The show is shot in Cinemascope, a format popularly witnessed in many Bollywood cliché films of the ’90s.

What is Guns & Gulaabs about?
Guns & Gulaabs is an upcoming black comedy crime thriller and is set in the 90’s world of crime and violence. The show depicts the story of love and innocence blending with humour and romance. Inspired by the “Misfits of the World”, the series mixes the nostalgic tales of romance in the 90’s with crime. An American hard rock band called Guns N’ Roses, which gained popularity in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, inspired the show’s title.
Where Can I Watch Guns & Gulaabs?
Guns & Gulaabs will be available to watch in India as well as the rest of the world, on Netflix. As this is an original series, this is the only place you’re going to be able to watch this one.
Expect the show to be dubbed in multiple Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada among other international languages.
Guns & Gulaabs Release Date
Guns & Gulaabs will release globally on Friday 18th August at 12:00 am (PT) / 12:30 pm (IST) / 3:00 am (ET). Each episode will have a run-time of around 48 minutes. Also, expect episodes to drop with English subtitles as well.
