Missing While Gabi Mosely
Episode 6 of Found Season 2 starts with Margaret at the police station. We learn that she was arrested after she assaulted a man named Raphael, who works at the train station.
Raphael was removing the flyers, and Margaret got triggered when he threw the flyers of her son away. Trent tries to use this opportunity to turn Margaret against Gabi. However, Gabi pays Margaret’s bail and takes her home. Unfortunately, Raphael filed a restraining order against Margaret, which means she can’t be at the bus station.
Elsewhere, Dhan tries to overcompensate and apologises to Ethan for Sir stealing his credit card. Dhan is also struggling to tell Ethan the truth. Zeke texts Dhan and asks him to come over. Zeke is worried that Lacey has not been sleeping. He thinks her memories about what happened with Sir might be unreliable as she is still healing from her head injury. Lacey is hurt that no one believes her.
This is the same thing that happened back when she was a child. No one believed when she tried to tell them that Sir was still watching. Her mom worried about her not speaking and Gabi was worried about her dad and getting Sir.
She agrees to give some journalist an interview, and he misconstrues her words. The interview hurt Lacey because Gabi said that she was broken. However, later Gabi explained the situation to Lacey and let her listen to the real interview, where she called her strong and brave.
Back at the office, a woman named Jocelyn Mosley. Her son Gabi was kidnapped and Jocelin thinks that Sir took her daughter to replace Gabi since they have the same name. Gabi, Margaret and Dhan listen to Jocelyn.
Jocelyn tells them that her daughter mentioned being followed and was a huge fan of Gabi. She also adds that she found a bottle of chloroform in her daughter’s room. The team takes the case and checks Elizabeth’s ( Gabi’s) room. Gabi refuses to believe Sir took the young girl, but Lacey and the others are not sure.
Lacey takes to the internet to call out Sir and ignores Gabi’s advice to avoid the media. Lacey insists that she has a right to fight back and Gabi tries to be understanding. However, she warns Lacey not to act impulsively.
On the other hand, angry Trent threatens to charge Gabi with more crimes for going through Elizabeth’s room. She points out that the family hired her. They start looking into Elizabeth’s boyfriend but he says that all was good between them. Although Gabi and Trent don’t believe him, they can’t charge him with anything yet.
In the meantime, Dhan asks the others to stop punishing Gabi. He wants them to work together to prevent her arrest until they find Sir. Zeke offers to hack the local police to see Trent’s progress and Lacey offers to check for loopholes in Gabi’s defence.
The case continues and Trent joins the team to help find Elizabeth. They learn that Jocelyn asked a local pastor to talk to her daughter after her dad left. However, Elizabeth filed a restraining order against the man. The pastor claims that it was a misunderstanding and an embellishment on Elizabeth’s part.
Later, Zeke continues to worry, since Lacey is still acting impulsively. She insists she won’t let Sir take away her joy. She is happy to dance in the rain, and Zeke tries to remember the last time he felt the rain. He gets Lacey’s position, but wants her to be careful. Lacey is not the only one who should be careful. Trent is worried about Gabi, but refuses to acknowledge it.
In the evening, Sir drops by Gabi’s office and finds Margaret. He takes the files and has a casual talk with Margaret. Sir insists that Gabi will come to him soon. He denies any involvement in the other Gabi’s kidnapping.
Margaret reads Sir, and he is impressed she got most things right. He leaves before the police get there and returns the keys he made to gain access to the office. The visit shakes everyone and Margaret confirms that she thinks Sir is working with someone. Gabi continues to insist that Sir is not the culprit and that maybe the journalist who wrote a book on Sir might be. Gabi is not happy to talk to the man again and thinks he lied about talking to Sir. Arthur is also trying to insert himself into the new case and was in contact with Elizabeth.
As they talk to Arthur, who says he is doing a sequel to Lacey’s second kidnapping, another girl is kidnapped. However, the young girl is not seven years old and therefore not meant to replace Lacey.
At the same time, the copycat kidnapper calls claiming he is Sir, and he has taken the two girls. Gabi remains headstrong that Sir is not the kidnapper. She teams up with Arthur and threatens to expose him if he doesn’t cooperate. They set up a press interview, hoping that Sir would call. Meanwhile. Trent cautions Margaret to stop calling Raphael as he is claiming she is harassing him.
At the press interview, Sir calls the reporter’s phone. He tells her that she is looking at the case wrongly. He advises her to embrace the darkness before one of the two girls dies. Zeke finds a connection between Elizabeth and the new kidnapped girl, Charlotte.
It turns out that Charlotte is close to Elizabeth’s boyfriend. She has been the bane of Elizabeth’s relationship with her boyfriend. However, the boyfriend insists that Charlotte is a childhood friend who he considers a sister. He admits that the last time he talked to Elizabeth; they fought about Charlotte. Gabi realises that Sir meant that Elizabeth kidnapped Charlotte. They turn their attention to her and talk to Jocelyn again.
By the time they put all the puzzle pieces together, Sir saves Charlotte and does a short video with her before dropping her outside Gabi’s office. She calls him her hero and Gabi finds Elizabeth later on. Sir left her tied in the house she was keeping Charlotte in.
Gabi is frustrated that Sir pulled this stunt. Later, she and Lacey patch things up. Lacey admits she has been struggling and needs help before she can take over the company for Gabi. Dhan also comes clean to Ethan, and the latter gets angry because he was the last to know the truth. Zeke tries to feel the rain from the door of his house and Gabi and Lacey head to the bus station to be there for Margaret since she is not allowed to go inside anymore.
The Episode Review
I wonder what it will take for Trent to start getting over his anger with Gabi. Margaret is also still angry and losing it slowly. She can’t be at the bus station anymore and this will only make matters worse for her. She will need more help, but will she let Gabi and the others help her?
Sir continues to be brazen and gets away with all the shenanigans he is up to. Who is helping him and how is he sneaking outside and no one seems to know how to find him? There is something we are missing because he is too good at this. Whoever is helping him is someone who has done this before. That is the only explanation because they are good at staying under the radar when they want to.
Lastly, if Trent is looking into Dhan, it means that he is at risk of going to prison, too. What other crimes have Dhan been involved with and how much does Trent know? Either way, Dhan’s loyalty to Gabi will cost him a lot of things. Is he ready to pay the price?
