For All Mankind Season 3 Episode 4
Season 3 of For All Mankind starts in 1992, almost 10 years after the events of season 2. The space program has only grown larger and more powerful in that time, with Karen Baldwin now a pioneer in the space tourism industry.
Ellen Wilson has left NASA and pursued a career in politics. Her trajectory has sky-rocketed after the discovery of an element called Helium-3 on the moon.
The space race this time turns toward Mars, which looks to be heating up over the weeks.

Please return to the high level of writing we saw in the first 2 seasons. Season 3 episode 1 was pretty hard to swallow. So full of holes. The space station with no shutoff valves for the spin rocket except right at the rocket itself was hard to swallow (there are ALWAYS multiple shutoff valves in case of fuel line leaks in ALL spacecraft). The cable that’s broken loose is swinging around and can break a window or damage an air seal and nobody evacuates the guests to the central core (and it does eventually smash a window, by the way)? Not very believable at all. And they wait until the spin and associated gravity is so severe that the elevators are beyond weight capacity to start trying sending people up to the central core? Again, awfully hard to swallow. We had seven space enthusiasts in my living room (not scientists, just space enthusiasts) and everyone was asking why they aren’t sending people up to the core before it is too late and the elevators won’t be able to carry them up anymore to do so, yet the people running the station don’t think of it until it’s too late? Give me a break!
In the most recent episode, they leave a crew member monitoring the drilling rig who everyone knows is on drugs and spaces out so badly he doesn’t even hear people in the same room calling his name? And the other crew member who knows people’s lives could be at stake if things go awry leaves him alone to monitor the drill and doesn’t even look over to check on this guy regularly who couldn’t be trusted to monitor paper clips? Doesn’t even leave the audio playing over the speaker, just trust the untrustworthy guy completely? Really? Are they TRYING to risk people’s lives stupidly?
This year the “The audience will never notice syndrome” has crept into the show with a vengeance. Well, I must inform you that WE ARE NOTICING!
PLEASE return the writing to the previously high level of writing we saw in the preceding seasons for the upcoming season 4.
Whoever is running the show for season 3 either isn’t as good, or if it is the same person, they are getting lazy and we fans are honestly noticing.
The 1st 2 seasons were a LOT better written. Please don’t let this lazy writing continue.
I really WANT to keep watching the show. Don’t make me give up on it.
Thank you for listening.
I love this show! It one of the best I’ve enjoyed for years. I really how it continues beyond season three!
