Fighting For Love Season 1

Fighting For Love is an exciting Chinese drama set in ancient China based on the novel A Mai Cong Jun by Xian Cheng. This historical drama has everything from disguises and secret identities to revenge and forbidden romance. It follows the female general, A Mai who has made a name for herself due to her cleverness and strength. However, when she is betrayed by her best friend, Chen Qi who kills her whole family, she abandons everything in pursuit of revenge.

In comes General Shang Yi Zhi who finds himself in several complicated scenarios with A Mai grudgingly rescuing him. As their friendship blooms, she ends up joining his army to help him in the ongoing war. But as fate would have it, she also ends up interacting with the enemy general, Chang Yu Qing and as they end up surviving dangerous incidents together, they unwittingly strike a friendship.

  1. The best parts of this drama is General Yuqin’s appearance but his role is very limited comparatively others which is a hurting part for the fans of this character. He’s attained heroic qualities due to his bravery, intelligence, and uprightness. For me, he’s the hero of this play. I wish if it were a second season of this drama then that should focus on General Chang Yuqin’s character in detail, and his appearance must be ensured more than other characters. We want to see Wang Rui Chang as General Chang Yuqin again in the next season. Thank you!
