Fatal Seduction – Volume 2 Episode 8 Recap & Review

Psychopath

Episode 8 of Fatal Seduction Season 1 Volume 2 begins with Vuyo assuring Leonard that he is not sleeping with Nandi. He then confronts Leonard about who shot his leg. Leonard informs him that Charlie Chace shot him. Meanwhile, Vuyo walks outside and into a car with Nandi.

She inquires about what Vuyo did to Jacob. Vuyo informs her that he questioned him and that he is most likely not involved in Brenda’s death. He then assures Nandi that he will handle everything after she breaks down. Later, he meets Charlie Chace and inquires about Brenda, to which Charlie responds that she was most likely sleeping with Leonard. Vuyo then threatens him with dire consequences if he reports to Leonard.

Nandi and Leonard make amends at home. He also informs her that Jacob declined the job opportunity that Leonard offered him. Nandi, on the other hand, remains silent. Elsewhere, Jacob meets with his mother. She informs him that things are not as they appear. Following this, he informs her that his dad was innocent and assures her that those responsible will be held accountable.

Leonard and Nandi put aside their differences and have sex. But the next morning, she receives a cryptic message from Jacob about payback time. Meanwhile, Zinhle skips class to hang out with Jacob. He takes her to a place that appears to be in the middle of nowhere, where they are seen getting intimate. Nandi learns that Zinhle is with Jacob and she panics.

She ends up telling Leonard that Zinhle has been kidnapped. When he fails to take her seriously, she tells him about her affair with Jacob. Following this, Leonard assures her that he will take care of everything, and the episode comes to a close.

The Episode Review

The episode is centred on confrontations and revelations between various characters. Furthermore, Jacob appears to be attempting to quench his thirst for revenge by seducing and kidnapping Zinhle.

It’s a shame that the show isn’t as smart as it thinks it is. This episode is mediocre at best, with a focus on sex, unnecessary drama, and very little attention paid to the plotline and character arcs.
