Business proposal was a feel-good drama that lifted our spirits and made us swoon. Shin Ha-ri may have stolen Tae- moo’s heart but Jo Yoo-Jung captured the viewers’ hearts. Her Konglish was one of the best comic scenes in the show but it was her venting in the car to her cousin that had us laughing and relating to her struggle. The king of K-drama makes it on the list with his memorable line in the Legend of The Blue Sea when he put the assistant director of a hospital in his place. The sound has been used over 700,000 times on Tik Tok and some have even said they began watching the show after seeing the TikTok video.

We were all in a Squid Game fever after the release of the show in September 2021. The only Korean sentence most people know is probably the first line to the Red Light Green Light game. Presently, the sound has been used in TikTok over 9 million times.

Jun Ji- Hyun is the indisputable queen of K-drama and she never fails to give us the best one-liners in her dramas. Her sassy line in the K-drama My Love From The Star has been used over 18,000 times.

This iconic line came about after Im Ju-Kyung visited Han Seo-Joon’s sister in their home . She accidentally saw Han Seo-Joon dancing to the song Okey Dokey by Zico in his tiger print boxers. She then made it her life’s mission to tease him by roaring in his face every time she saw him. It is so cute how she teases him. 

“Do you like Messi?” from Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo

The “swaeg” trio was iconic in their own right but Bok-Joo pick-up line takes the cake. There is a saying among avid K-drama lovers that you can’t trust a K-drama fan who doesn’t know “do you know Messi?”

This is the Korean version of ” Hakuna Matata!” .The direct translation means don’t worry / no worries. We all admire Lee Joon-ki for trusting his car named Rebecca but it is honestly a road hazard and most of us would rather walk than get into such a car. The sound has been used in more than 2.2 million TikTok videos.

This is another unforgettable line from Jun Ji- Hyun in her hit show with Kim Soo-Hyun. This sound has so many variations on TikTok it is impossible to tell exactly how many times it has been used.
