Prime Video’s new TV show, based on the role-playing video games of the same name, is available to watch in its entirety from 11 April 2024.
This futuristic drama series from Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan features a star-studded cast, including Ella Purnell as Lucy Walton, an idealistic vault dweller, Aaron Motten as Maximus, a young soldier with a tragic past, Walton Goggins as “The Ghoul,” a disfigured bounty hunter, and Kyle MacLachlan as Hank, Lucy’s father and the overseer of Vault 33.
Also featured in the show is a character called Wilzig.
Who is Wilzig? And which famous actor plays him? Let’s find out.
Who is Wilzig?
According to the Fallout Wiki, Siggi Wilzig is an enigmatic researcher who is working on an unknown experiment. After fleeing with evidence of his experiment, he has been living every moment in fear and hiding.
Unfortunately for Wilzig, word of his escape has made its way through the Wasteland. This is bad news for him as he is now wanted by every faction!
In the series, our main protagonist, Lucy Walton, meets Wilzig and his dog after leaving the safety of her vault. He joins her on her travels and together they encounter the disfigured bounty hunter known as The Ghoul, whose latest target just so happens to be Wilzig.
Who plays Wilzig?
This renegade scientist is played by Michael Emerson. He’s perhaps most famous for his role as Ben Linus in Lost but he has a long list of acting credits to his name, with roles in the movies Saw, Straight-Jacket, and The Legend of Zorro. TV credits include roles in Person of Interest, Arrow, and Mozart in the Jungle.
Not only is Emerson’s face recognizable but his voice is too. He voiced the Joker in the animated 2-parter Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and he was also Brainiac in the animated TV series My Adventures With Superman.
Will his character live to see the end of Fallout Season 1? Tune into the series to find out!
