Evade Escape deter from being normal and casual, as their music teaches us that emotion is key to creating a thrilling sound and fables that are worthy of praise. Their music connects on a high level too, with rhythms and grooves melding together in unison.
The band hasn’t got a slender approach either, as the sound they’ve expertly designed pulses in a volatile fashion. They echo their feelings through lyrics that manage to resonate and inspire, coating every aspect of this album. This self-titled EP boasts melody beyond the norm, and the band doesn’t miss a beat, as they prepare for scrutiny. That’s not a bad thing, because their music has an original layer – one that is unbreakable!
And though there are plenty of bands tackling for the crown, Evade Escape has everything in their locker to succeed, to break the latch to brighter terrains.
‘Get Up And Move’ starts the EP off in a subtle embrace. Lyrically and musically, the song strikes with a powerful story and guitar riffs worthy of praise from the big guns.
‘On My Own starts’ like a true grunge track, as those dirty guitar riffs break in and serve as bases for the infectious chorus. The melodic approach is thrilling.
‘Coastline’ triggers emotions and it evolves into this guitar-driven monster. Lyrically, the darkness becomes explored, and the man behind the mic is breaking at the seams.
‘Feels So Right’ is a song of self-reflection and self-deprecation. The guitars thrill, the voice spills all, and the track balances great art with emotion.
Evade Escape is a band totally in control of their music, and this EP has the potential to blow minds.
