Eternal Strands Walkthrough: Restoration

After completing Weathering The Storm and crafting the new weather controller, Sev’s newest side quests will now become available. These Companion quests are a nice way of gaining extra dialogue options, Codex Entries and exploring parts of the world you may not have seen otherwise.

First up, go and speak to Sev. Next, head off to Dredger’s Mire, where you’ll need to reach the Hallowpyre Shrine area. The section in question happens to be a hidden entrance carved out the rock. Investigate the two spots outside here:

Next, go and speak to Sev. He will give you a new Design, the Norian Piping Conduit Patch. Go and craft this with Sola. You’ll need 10x Lapisite, 5x Irdesyl and 1x Stennic. If you’re missing any of these, you can either find them out in the world or speak to Casmyn and trade Camp Supplies for what you need.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll now need to head over to The Institute and into the Dissolution Chamber.

Interact with the glowing sphere (pictured above) and then return to Sev. However, if you haven’t already grabbed this, if you head up the stairs opposite in this room and circle around to the desk, you’ll find a Codex Entry here (pictured below).

Instead of heading back to camp, return to the cave in Hallowpyre Shrine that we found earlier. You’ll need to wait for the dialogue between your teammates to finish before you can proceed but when its done, head inside the cave and recover the writings. You’ll need to defeat two Surgeborn warriors first, so go ahead and kill these goons.

When you’ve picked up the notes, head back to camp and speak to Sev. Not only will this complete the mission, you’ll also gain a new trophy, A Series of Tubes, too.
