Eternal Strands Walkthrough: A Loose Thread

Talk To The Spindle

With The Lost City and A Tepid Welcome out the way, Eternal Strands now moves into the second half of the game with A Loose Thread. You should still be in Cassidan’s Hold, but if you’re not, teleport there now. 

In Cassidan’s Hold, you’ll find The Spindle by the table in the center of the room. Go and speak to her now and select A Loose Thread.

This mission is pretty straight forward and requires you to go and Harvest any Great Ark out in the world. It doesn’t matter what one you choose but if you’re looking to do this quickly, we’d recommend the Ark of Stricken Earth.

The bolts are easy to see, the Ark is slow and lumbering and it’s the simplest choice. However, if you’re gunning for all the trophies, you’ll need to kill every Epic Hunt at least twice so it really is up to you at this point what you choose to do.

With this gained, head back to Cassidan’s Hold and speak to The Spindle.

Cycle through the dialogue and choose whichever options you’d like, it doesn’t make a difference to the outcome, but it does complete this mission.
