What is Empire of the Vampire about?
Twenty-three years after the Daydeath, a phenomenon that casts the world into perpetual darkness, the world is overrun by vampires. Gabriel de Leon is the last of the Silversaints, a group of elite vampire hunters made from the bastard offspring of vampire houses. They have all of their strengths but none of their weaknesses – all apart from the thirst. Now, as a prisoner awaiting execution, Gabriel is visited by Jean-Francois Chastain, the personal historian of the new Empire empress, who wants to know his entire life before he is executed.
