Surprise
Episode 13 of Dragon Ball Daima begins with Gomah telling Degesu to disable Warp. After Degesu disables Warp, Hybis’s plane malfunctions. Glorio lands the plane somewhere. Panzy, Bulma, and Hybis stay behind to repair the plane while Goku, Vegeta, and the others explore the area.
Vegeta suggests he and the others fly to the First Demon World. Shin says mortals can’t pass through Warp on their own. Meanwhile, Neva tells the others they’re on Planet Mega. Neva tells Panzy’s group to repair the plane immediately. Planet Mega is known for having dangerous giants called Megath.
Elsewhere, Glorio calls Dr. Arinsu. Glorio tells Arinsu that his group obtained the Second Demon Realm’s Dragon Ball. He says he and the others will arrive at the First Demon Realm soon. Meanwhile, Panzy works on the plane’s Majiite issue and explains why it’s a valuable mineral to Bulma.
Suddenly, an army of giant hamsters arrives to torment our heroes. The hamsters flee after they hear loud footsteps nearby. The footsteps are coming from a Megath child. Our heroes notice the Megath’s supplies and argue it’s heading home from school.
The Megath Child sits on a tree to eat. Neva urges everyone to hide while the Megath’s pet searches the area. The pet finds Goku and the others. Vegeta, Piccolo, Glorio, and Goku toy with the pet. Eventually, Panzy and Bulma finish repairing the plane.
She, Bulma, Glorio, Shin, and others head inside the plane. The Megath and its pet notice it and try to stop it from fleeing. Vegeta, Goku, and Piccolo stop the Megath and regroup with Panzy’s group. Our heroes travel far away from the Megath child.
Neva confirms Planet Giga, known for having Gigaths, is the worst place in the Demon Realm. The episode ends with our heroes observing Planet Mega’s light show while departing from the planet.
The Episode Review
After a short break, Dragon Ball Daima has returned. This week’s episode was fine. It gives audiences a fancy altercation between a giant, its pet, and Goku’s group. Additionally, the episode gives fans more lore about the Demon Realm regarding its Majiite mineral.
The information is nice but some fans won’t find it all that compelling. Meanwhile, the episode teases fans more with Glorio and Dr. Arinsu’s mysterious collaboration. Nothing significant came from their discussion this week. However, it’s a nice way to remind audiences that Glorio is in cahoots with Arinsu for some reason.
Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait weeks to know why Glorio’s secretly working with her. The “giant” altercation was wonderfully animated though. From avoiding objects to attacking the Megath and its pet, there are scenes in this episode that’ll excite fans.
However, these scenes won’t amaze them as much as the previous chapter’s intense battles. But all in all, this was an okay showcase from Dragon Ball Daima.
