Episode 11 of Dragon Ball Daima begins with Neva heading toward Hybis’s plane. Panzy spots Neva so Goku and the others head outside to greet him. Piccolo confronts Neva and Neva says Piccolo looks like Katatz. Piccolo tells Neva that Katatz is his father.
Neva elaborates on what he, Gomah, and Degesu did with Earth’s Dragon Balls. He tells Piccolo he would’ve tricked Gomah if he had made a different wish with the Dragon Balls. Neva confirms he predicted everything Gomah did would happen.
However, Neva didn’t expect Goku and his friends to collect one of the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls. Before our heroes depart, Neva convinces them to let him tag along. Neva says they’ll need him to speak the Namekian language to get their wish granted.
Piccolo tells Goku that he doesn’t know the language because he lived on Earth too long. Elsewhere, Dr. Arinsu and Majin Kuu meet with Marba. Arinsu tells Marba they didn’t use enough of Majin Buu’s essence when making Kuu.
Marba pours Buu’s remaining fragments and essence into her concoction. She tells Arinsu she wants to bury the final Saibaman seed ten centimeters deep. Arinsu suggests burying the seed 20 centimeters deep instead. Meanwhile, our heroes head to the second Demon Realm.
Neva explains his living situation and reasons for creating the Tamagamis. He says he made the Dragon Balls as rewards for his fellow Nameks. Yet, when evil people caught wind of the Dragon Balls’ existence, Neva created the Tamagamis.
Neva wanted to make it harder for people to use the Dragon Balls. Vegeta tells Goku he’ll be fighting the next Tamigami. Meanwhile, Arinsu, Marba, and Kuu chat outside next to Marba’s concoction. After Kuu buries and pours water on the Saibaman seed, Majin Duu is born.
Duu screams, dances, and asks Arinsu to give him chocolate. Arinsu hands Kuu money. Kuu heads to the store to buy chocolate for him and Duu. Duu eats both chocolates. Arinsu tells Duu she wants him to defeat a Tamagami for her. Duu accepts her request.
Arinsu’s group travels to Tamagami Number One’s location. Duu fights Tamagami Number One. Meanwhile, Goku’s group arrives at Tamagami Number Two’s location. Vegeta fights Tamagami Number Two. During their fight, Tamagami Number Two knocks Vegeta into the sea.
A Kraken arrives and tries swallowing Vegeta. Vegeta escapes and tries to fight Tamagami Number Two again. However, Tamagami Number Two pushes Vegeta back. Simultaneously, the Kraken appears behind Vegeta and swallows him. The Kraken returns to the sea.
The episode ends with Vegeta’s friends looking shocked.
The Episode Review
Two Tamagami fights are underway. Majin Duu and Vegeta are putting up a decent brawl against these Dragon Ball guardians. While some fans won’t find Duu’s design appealing, seeing him give Tamgami Number One a better battle is fantastic.
Moreover, Duu’s character isn’t one-to-one with Kuu’s, which is great. At the same time, it would’ve been interesting if Duu was less obedient. It would have helped Duu’s character stand out from Kuu’s. Nevertheless, we’re optimistic Duu will defeat Tamagami Number One.
Simultaneously, Vegeta’s getting some time to shine. Unfortunately, Vegeta has to deal with two foes instead of one. We speculate that Tamagami Number Two could lend Vegeta assistance. This is based on how honorable Tamagami Number Three was during its fight with Goku. At the same time, Vegeta isn’t a pushover. Vegeta could rely on his inner strength or Super Saiyan forms to escape this fishy situation.
Next to having interesting lore surrounding the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls and Namekians, this was a fine chapter of Dragon Ball Daima.
