Delusional Monthly Magazine – Season 1 Episode 3 Recap & Review

More than Just Singing?! Musical Speak?!

In Delusional Monthly Magazine Episode 3, Taro’s matchmaker finally sets him up with Leah, a girl with no specific expectations. The matchmaking process involves a series of dates, and Taro connects with Leah’s love for attending plays. However, Leah doesn’t show up for the date, and meanwhile, Noin and Perch plan to control the Mo-parts.

Back at the office, Goro inspects the Mo-part and recalls seeing a symbol on Noin and Perch’s uniform, identifying it as the emblem of the organization. Goro shares this discovery with Jiro, and they soon receive a call. Jiro coincidentally joins Taro at the play, pleased that Taro’s date is ruined. Surprisingly, Noin and Perch are also present.

During the play, Hananosuke sings, and afterwards, Catherine informs Goro and Jiro about strange events, urging them to investigate for the magazine. In an interview, Hananosuke reveals his inability to control his singing, triggered by his breakup with Leah. Taro avoids meeting him, while Goro and Jiro explore the issue.

Discovering that Hananosuke’s episodes are linked to his breakup, Goro and Jiro confirm this with him. Hananosuke asks them to attend his final play. Taro waits outside, avoiding Hananosuke.

Goro hands his bag to Taro, and chaos ensues when Noin and Perch attempt to steal it. Jiro’s dog accidentally leads them into a prop, trapping them. During Hananosuke’s speech, his ex-girlfriend echoes him, causing his ring to shine and making everyone sing.

In the chaos, Noin and Perch drop the Mo-part. Jiro tosses it onto Taro’s head, triggering his transformation. Hananosuke and Leah reunite, and their rings create a new Mo-part. Noin and Perch steal the new Mo-part for Edward at the end of Delusional Monthly Magazine Episode 3.
