Dee & Friends in Oz – Season 1 Episode 6 Recap & Review

Dee and the Doo-Your-Best Fest

Dee & Friends in Oz Episode 6 begins with Dee showing off her badges. The mission is to collect an explorer badge after taking a picture of an unknown animal. She enters Oz and sees a ‘Do Your Best’ contest being held. They all show their talents, but Dee realizes Tin Boy is not there.

The scene cuts to Tin Boy skating his way to school while being proud of his invention. Unfortunately, a wheel pops off, and he loses control of the skates and crashes into the school. This turns his mood upside down, as well as everyone else’s. The teacher motivates them and raises their spirits.

Following that, everyone heads out to do something for the competition but isn’t successful and keeps struggling. Dee is unable to get a picture of the giggly frog, while Westyn struggles to get her flower growing. Tin Boy makes his robot dog, but it doesn’t function.

The kids still keep their heads in the game and try hard. Westyn puts too much magic powder while trying to grow her flower and turns it into a huge one that can walk. The flower carries her around as she calls for help.

Dee tries to attract the Giggly Frog with a peanut butter and jam sandwich, but a Woo Hoo bird comes to eat it instead. She then sees Grumpy Ozling laughing away and finds the Giggly Frog. She isn’t able to control her laughter and misses clicking the picture. She sees Dee practising and gets inspired.

The two then see Westyn struggling with her flower. Dee drops her camera, and the camera clicks a picture of the flower, causing it to shrink. The flower begins to run, and Tin Boy fixes his robo-dog to chase the flower and save Westyn. The flower heads for the Fest and wreaks havoc. Fortunately, Dee and Tin Boy arrive, and Dee uses her camera to flash it back to a small size at the end of Dee & Friends in Oz Episode 6.
