Dee and the Ozberry Adventure
Dee & Friends in Oz Episode 4 opens with Dee making a tent and earning a badge. Grandma hands her a peanut butter and a jam bottle, asking her to create a sandwich with a new recipe. Dee is perplexed as the recipe is quite straightforward, but Grandma urges her to think outside the box.
She enters Ozland and reaches school. They prepare to go to Strawland for the Ozberry feast. Dee is perplexed when the teacher talks about putting bubbles, but the teacher tells her to think differently and demonstrates how the bubbles can be used like flying shoes. They wear the bubbles and travel to the feast.
Reaching the village, Scarecrow takes them around and introduces them to Nonny. They then go Ozberry picking. Nonny entrusts them with protecting the Ozberries from the Woo Hoo birds. Dee and Tin Boy try to scare away the birds, but Scarecrow comes up with a different way. He begins to entertain them with a dance, and the birds participate.
Nonny comes and scares the birds away. He tells them not to deviate from tradition. Just then, the birds come and begin to steal the berries. Unfortunately, the birds take away all the berries. Suddenly, the WooHoo birds come and pick up Tin Boy and fly. Dee and Scarecrow follow the birds to their nest.
Scarecrow loses faith in himself and isn’t able to think of a way to help Tin Boy. Dee encourages him to dance again. The birds follow his lead and bring Tin Boy along to dance with them. Tin Boy thanks them for helping him out. Scarecrow comes up with another idea to take the berries. He realizes they use them as decoration for their nest and offers to trade them for shiny decorations that look like Oz berries.
Nonny is upset that they weren’t able to save the berries. Just then, the kids fly in on the birds’ backs along with the Ozberries. Scarecrow tells them that they will trade them for the decorations. They then sit down to feast.
Returning home, Dee makes a peanut butter and jam sandwich with blueberries. Grandma is proud of it and gives her another batch for thinking differently at the end of Dee & Friends in Oz Episode 4.
