This German miniseries is based on a novel written by Romy Hausmannand and brings to life a story about two separate mysteries that are intertwined together. What Is Dear Child About?

The limited series follows the life of Lena, who is stuck in a strange hostage situation with two young kids, Hannah and Jonathan. Interestingly, the show begins with her and Hannah’s narrow escape from the situation. But things get complicated when the investigation begins to point to a cold case in the small town — the disappearance of a young girl named Lena, 13 years ago.
