Dark Winds Season 2 Episode 5 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

Dark Winds Season 2 Episode 5

Season 1 of Dark Winds became a surprise hit for AMC. The series was definitely the dark horse on a schedule that included Better Call Saul and The Walking Dead.

Dark Winds resonated deeply with viewers, especially the Native American community, who found the representation to be meaningful, complex, and respectful. Zahn McClarnon and Kiowa Gordon are back in the second season, once again playing the protagonist duo from the books of the same name.

This new season promises to be even more exciting as we go deeper into the novel’s universe. It has been confirmed that the plot from the first season will not be continued in this season. We will most possibly see a new arc from one of the books. But even then, some residual subplots will be carried forward as callbacks.

Here is everything you need to know about Dark Winds Season 2 Episode 5, including its release date, time and where you can watch this.

Where Can I Watch Dark Winds?

Dark Winds will be available to stream globally on AMC+ and the new episodes will also air on AMC as well. As has been the norm, the episodes will drop two days before the cable network on the streaming service. For those who do not have access to AMC in their country, Philo TV, Direct TV Stream, and Sling TV also offer paid services through which you can stream Dark Winds on the same day.

Dark Winds Season 2 Episode 5 Release Date

How Many Episodes Will Dark Winds Have?

Dark Winds’ season 2 has been commissioned for a total of 6 episodes. This is the same number as the previous season. So, after episode 5, we will have just one more episode to go before season 2 concludes.

What happened in Episode 4?

Episode 4 of Dark Winds primarily revolves around “the march,” which refers to Joe marching a bounded Colton through the unyielding desert. The action begins from the last episode which saw Bern and Joe in hot pursuit of Colton. Both escape unharmed from his brutal assault on his own trailer. Colton finds himself cornered at the tip of a canyon and jumps without caring if he lives or dies.

Joe’s hatred and search for justice see him jump as well. But it does not go as well. Backup arrives only the next morning as Bern updates Sena and his men on the situation. Joe is badly injured but still soldiers on to find Colton and tie him up. He marches him toward the station but faces a stiff challenge, both physically and psychologically as Colton keeps taunting him every step of the way.

Sally grows disenchanted with her newborn baby. She has a confrontation with Emma about how Sally has been forced to follow the advice of other people in her life. She is ashamed of having this baby as a result of being abused. Meanwhile, Chee is given a task by BJ to find out whom Rosemary is having an affair with.
