After gathering intel about Yayoi’s supernatural abilities from his close friend Eiko, Keitaro vows to help Yayoi find the spirit that took her mother away in the past. They’ll do so by hunting down as many spirits as possible, resulting in many eerie and lighthearted antics.

Where Can I Watch Dark Gathering?
Dark Gathering Season 1 is airing in Japan on Tokyo MX, AT-X, BS Asahi, and Amazon Prime Video. It is available to stream on HiDive outside of Asian territories.
Dark Gathering Episode 4 Release Date
Dark Gathering Episode 4 will release on Sunday 30th July at approximately 5pm (GMT) / 10am (PT) / 12pm (CT). Of course, it’s really dependent on how quickly the platform uploads new episodes. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.
Dark Gathering is not available with the dubbing from the release so you’ll need to watch it in the native Japanese tongue with subtitles. Dubbing will likely arrive later on down the line.

What Happened in Episode 3?
In Dark Gathering Episode 3, Eiko and Yayoi want to visit another spooky location, but Keitaro refuses to tag along. Yayoi and Eiko visit an abandoned temple to find an item that’ll free Keitaro of his curse. Yayoi battles the spirit alone and gets in trouble. Eiko flees the area, bumps into Keitaro, and asks him to help her assist Yayoi.
Keitaro rescues Yayoi from Kishimojin and takes her to the hospital. Yayoi and Keitaro return to Eiko’s house and Yayoi explains why she’s collecting spirits to Keitaro. After learning how Yayoi’s plan can benefit him and Eiko’s curse, the episode closes with Keitaro contemplating if he wants to assist Yayoi in her spirit-collecting and battling endeavors.
