Dandadan Chapter 141 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Read

Dandadan: Chapter 141

Dandadan is a fairly popular shonen manga written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. It’s known for blending all types of genres from supernatural to sci-fi and for having incredible action and compelling comedy.

The story follows two characters named Momo and Okarun who get into an argument over supernatural topics. They attend separate locations associated with their specific beliefs to prove the other wrong. When they both end up being correct about their situation, they embark on various chaotic endeavors that will change their lives forever.

If you’ve been following this manga, you may be curious to know when the next chapter will be released. Well, wonder no more!

Here is everything you need to know about chapter 141 of Dandadan, including the release date, time, and where to read this.

Where Can I Read Dandadan?

Dandadan can be read at several different places online. Viz Media is available for those in the US and Canada, while Manga Plus has the right to drop new chapters. However, it will also be available to read on Shonen Jump too.

The printed volumes only go up to number 12 in Japan at the time of writing, so reading online is the definitive way to read this one.

Dandadan: Chapter 141 Release Date

Dandandan: Chapter 141 will be released on Monday 19th February at approximately 3pm (GMT) / 7am (PT) / 10am (ET). Of course, it’s dependent on how quickly these chapters are uploaded. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

All other chapters are available to read on the above websites. An anime has just been announced for this manga, according to the Dandadan Anime X account. It’ll air in October 2024 and is being animated by Studio Science SARU, the people behind the Scott Pilgrim: Takes Off anime series.

Nonetheless, expect the chapter to be roughly 18-20 pages long. This is a weekly release so expect the next chapter to drop in 1 week.

How Many Chapters Will Dandadan Have?

There’s been no indication that Dandadan will end anytime soon. Ultimately, it depends on how popular this one remains, and what Tatsu has planned for Momo, Okarun, and the others in the future.

What Happened In Chapter 140?

In Chapter 140, we begin where we left off in Chapter 139 with Momo using her Moe Moe Tri-beam attack on the chef. The chef explodes and Momo falls on a pile of food. Zuma helps Momo up and she thanks him. He offers Momo the Gold Ball but Momo says he can borrow it. Zuma suggests Momo should take the Gold Ball because he uses up his power.

Also, he believes Momo’s stronger than him. Suddenly, two mysterious documents pop up alongside a chef trading card. The document shares intel about the chef’s card. The document says that Momo and Zuma can use the chef’s powers if they eat his treats. Zuma eats one of the chef’s treats and his legs turn into two donuts. Momo laughs at Zuma, who can’t control his bouncy legs now.

Momo tries a lollipop and gets all sticky. She finds her new powers unappealing and wonders how she and Zuma can return to normal. She pulls out a card that has an image of the chef she defeated and the knight Zuma beat before they officially met. A knight card appears in front of Momo and she loses her sticky powers but obtains the knight’s shield.

Momo hands Zuma the card. Zuma obtains the knight’s shield instead of Momo. Momo touches the card again and the shield disappears. Momo predicts if they defeat this diorama game world’s final bosses they’ll be able to win the game. Additionally, Momo informs Zuma about her Moe Moe Tri-beam’s unfortunate after-effects.

Zuma suggests they keep these cards in mind when challenging the future bosses. For now, he feels he and Momo should try out more of the chef’s food that’s scattered around. Before then, Zuma wants to find his Geta Sandles. Then, we receive a closer shot of the chef’s card. Although the two don’t notice it, the card’s fine print says if they eat something from this world, they become a resident.

Regardless of that fact, the chapter closes with Momo calling Zuma an airhead since he doesn’t share the same excitement she has for an all-you-can-eat treat buffet.
